Here are some of the assistants from staffs where the HC was terminated (or almost assuredly will be terminated)
SF: Mike Solari OL coach, Greg Manusky (3-4) DC
Carolina: John Fox (HC or DC, albeit not a 3-4 guy and almost assuredly will get other HC opportunities), Jeff Davidson (as OL or TE coach, not OC)
Denver: Ed Donatell (DB coach, has been pretty good at that during his career, also has been a DC but not as successful)
Minnesota- nobody. They have a very good DL coach, but hard to imagine Leslie Frazier letting him leave if he stays as HC, as expected
Cinci- assuming they dont renew Marvin Lewis' contract. He'd be a good DC candidate. Ken Zampese as QB coach or some other offensive asst type role. Son of former OC Ernie Zampese (who Garrett played for), knows this passing system inside and out.
Cleveland- Eric Mangini or Rob Ryan, both of whom have 3-4 experience as defensive coordinators, both also coached under Bill Belichick.
Tennessee--Jeff Fisher, if he is let go. Potential HC candidate here. Jim Washburn, outstanding DL coach, Dave McGinnis, more of a 4-3 defensive coach but highly regarded, is currently their LB coach, Mike Munchak OL coach, has built TN's OL into one of the best in the league over the past several yrs and has done it without spending alot of high draft picks on OL, Marcus Robertson, DB coach
Houston- If Kubiak is canned, could be an OC candidate depending on who the HC is but otherwise they nothing I'd be interested in.
Miami- supposedly Parcells intervened to save Sparano his job, though I still wouldnt be surprised if he got whacked. Mike Nolan and Todd Bowles would be of interest. Sparano would probably be of interest, though he might prefer a real OC position elsewhere. Kacy Rogers would be of obvious interest.
