Assuming a 2nd loss to NY, any way to get WildCard?

Since fat Brandon Jacobs can come down to Dallas and air-hump our star and we just roll over, I dont see our defense putting up much of a fight up there.


So the question becomes is there any way to get a Wildcard with us losing to the Giants a 2nd time? I would assume that we would have to win the next 2 games and that would put us at 9-6 with a loss at NY giving us a final record of 9-7.


Can we get a Wildcard at 9-7 or is our season done if we cant beat NY?

So basically we have to beat Tampa and Philly and hope the Giants lose to the Skins and Jets.


I dont think this scenario is very likely, especially the Skins going to NY and beating the Giants. I think Garrett and Ryan just ended our season.

Detroit and AZ have the tiebreaker on us. Atlanta's probably going to be 10-6. (Jax, NO, TB)
AZ has (CLE, CIN, SEA) so they could end up 9-7 too, which would leave us on the outside.
According to the ESPN calculator, if Chicago wins twice, they also have the tiebreaker on us. So yeah

i don't think this team has the backbone to go into new york and win a deciding game.

this team already showed us how they react under those circumstances a couple of years ago, 44-6.

Basically become the biggest jet fans. If they beat the eagles they may shut it down week 16. If they beat he giants, we have a great shot.

the jets could beat the snot out of the eagles 50-0 and i guarantee you the eagles will still come out playing hard vs. us the next week. that's how much these nfc east teams hate us.

If you told me at the beginning of the season that to make the playoffs we'd need to beat the Bucs, the Eagles and the Giants to make the playoffs I'd tell you "what else is new"

Team has to go take care of business.
We built a road of easy paths to the playoffs and we squandered it and now we're right where we are supposed to be. Playing for a chance at the playoffs
Same with the Giants, Falcons, Lions, Bears, Jets, Bengals and Raiders. Those are our peers. They have some awful losses, some great wins, some heartbreakers and some blowouts. That's the modern NFL. The parity league.

I've got my popcorn ready, it's going to be a fun ride, and I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Yes, there are ways to get a wild card (or win the division) at 9-7 if we lose to the Giants. And we don't even need anyone else to lose out.

The Dallas Cowboys have 21 NFC East titles. The Eagles, Giants and Commanders have 21 NFC East titles COMBINDED. They should hate us and they have a long ways to go to ever become us. Sure I sound like sour grapes...but the facts are the facts. We have pimp slapped our fellow NFC East brethern for years...so the hate towards us has been earned. And I LOVE it!!!!!!

why not Skins beat them once and just gave NE fits.


Having said that I think Dallas can win in NY, it was not like NY did not have trouble vs the Dallas offense. You make it out as this was a one sided game and it wasn't.
