The first 30 Super Bowls (Super Bowls 1-30, 1966-67 to 1995-96):

Dallas makes 8 SB appearances, wins 5 titles. Appeared in 27% of SBs, won 17%.

The second 30 Super Bowls (Super Bowls 31-60, 1996-97 to 2025-26):

Dallas makes 0 appearances.

So not only do I feel old that just about another entire set of 30 SBs have passed since Dallas just won their last title, it feels even worse when considering we've lost 30 of our lives waiting until their next appearance. I mean, they couldn't even luck into the title game, like the Raiders did 20+ years ago against Tampa Bay.

Wow.

Wow.

I hate math. Remind me the % of zero out of thirty.

Yeah we're in a bad spot both offensive and defensive lines aren't that good plus lack of talent at the skill positions on offense. Prescott also has durability issues know so we need to start looking for his replacement very soon.

now do the Miami dolphins and that team in Washington

both were flagship franchises when I was growing up in the 80s(both better than dALLAS)

Dolphins went to three straight SB losing SB 6 to Dallas and then winning back-to-back in 7 and 8

Dolphins lost two SB in the 80s, one to the greatest football player who ever lived(Montana) and haven't been to a championship game since the 1992 season

You are not the only team to have it 'bad' and compared to when I became a cowboys fan -- the cowboys are a dynasty compared to the mid-late 80s

Cowboys wins 03-23... 184
Cowboys wins 83-2003 ... 175

gets worse if you factor in Conference Championship games. we got to a number of them as well in those first thirty years.
Regular season wins are participation trophies.

AND you cherry pick it. Why do you also not show Regular season wins 64-94 and then 94-24

The #1 problem with this franchise is the Jones clan.
they got you three straight 12-5 seasons

they got you 98 wins from 2014-23

The problem this season was the team has lost too many free agents over the past few years and recent draft picks were not able to step in and fill the voids

JJ clan has rebuilt this roster on the fly at least three times since 2010 and never had a sustained period at the bottom of the division or conference. In fact, the Jones's biggest mistake was the entire Wade Phillips /Jason Garrett era

some proper context to the woe-is-us fest

over the past two years the cowboys have lost their starting center, starting RB, at least four WR, the QB favorite and most reliable target, quality lD-ine depth.Lets look at this thing in totality and not be a whinny fan

Can we at least make an NFC title game. The most valuable franchise truly can't be this inept. Oh wait yeah they are, because they want to torture us like the Terrifier movies. Roseman Laurie and the Jones tards are in cahoots. Cowboys get the money...Philly gets the rings.

I dont care about the value of the franchise. what does that have to do with anything? people keep bringing it up. who cares.

you gone do the dolphins

The team won’t invest in drafting QBs at the top of the draft. That is the #1 problem with this franchise.
I would argue the #1 problem with our franchise is winning isn’t the priority.
The owner and GM is content with making money and being famous and this trickles down to the players. Until that mindset changes then I don’t see any football moves working (draft picks, FA, etc). If everyone, or most of everyone, involved with the franchise is comfortable with losing then it’s a wrap.

Now if the mindset/culture changes then #1 problem is not drafting 1st round QBs and #2 is approach to FA, #3 is the devaluation of the HC position.

Playoff wins:
Cowboys 1983-2003 - 12
Cowboys 2003-2023 - 4

CCG appearances:
Cowboys 1983-2003 - 7 (3 in the 80s)
Cowboys 2003-2023 - 0

SB wins:
Cowboys 1983-2003 - 3
Cowboys 2003-2023 - 0

* The Dolphins haven't had the same GM the entire time of their drought like the Cowboys.

* Tom Brady is clearly better than Joe Montana.

You were babbling incorrectly about a dynasty compared to the 80s Cowboys who had far better playoff runs than the 03-23 Cowboys...

That guy clearly doesn't have a winner's mindset when he's trying to prop up regular season records that nobody gives a damn about when they don't result in any success reaching title games.

I question his intellect, too, because of the idiotic attempt to defend the indefensible.
