Assuming Dallas doesn't get into SB 60 (very sobering)

The first 30 Super Bowls (Super Bowls 1-30, 1966-67 to 1995-96):

Dallas makes 8 SB appearances, wins 5 titles. Appeared in 27% of SBs, won 17%.

The second 30 Super Bowls (Super Bowls 31-60, 1996-97 to 2025-26):

Dallas makes 0 appearances.

So not only do I feel old that just about another entire set of 30 SBs have passed since Dallas just won their last title, it feels even worse when considering we've lost 30 of our lives waiting until their next appearance. I mean, they couldn't even luck into the title game, like the Raiders did 20+ years ago against Tampa Bay.

Wow.
They aren’t close to even sniffing a Super Bowl. It will be many more years unless the Jones family sells.

BTW their division rivals over that time frame have been to 7 Superbowls and won 4 of them.

The Cowboys have a much better shot at a Super Bowl between 70-75.

that has about a 99.73% of happening. for cowboys not to see superbowls for another 10, even 20 years....

I think it’ll last longer. We actually had teams over the recent years with the talent to win Super Bowls. Some Romo teams and some Dak teams. We usually had an elite unit, such as OL and RB, along with some All Pro talent spread around. We don’t have that anymore. The OL is in rebuild and we have no RB. We basically have CeeDee and Micah as the only All Pro talent, but we don’t have a single strong unit. If you don’t remember, it took several years of amazing draft hits to compile that elite OL we had. We’re several drafts away, and we don’t appear to be in a situation to draft a franchise QB like Washington just did. I think Dallas and NYG have bleak futures, and NYG’s might be brighter because they’re bound to get the #1 overall pick in the next draft.

Tom Brady is clearly better than Joe Montana.
Blocked

no, Joe did not use any performance enhancers like the other guy (my opinion) oh you think the other guy was performing at 45 because he was just naturally better than everyone else? No. He can’t defy human history

And check SB stats. Joe is clearly the best playoff QB ever

And Joe would’ve beaten the cowboys in 1992

they got you three straight 12-5 seasons

they got you 98 wins from 2014-23
Yeah only one huge problem with that.

The goal is championships. We can barely get out of the wild card weekend at best.

I don't care if they go 17-0. That isn't the goal.

Jerry!! Jerry!!! Jerry!!!

But, at least we are the most valuable franchise in the world!

No, I actually went back 20 years since they started adding talent
That’s called cherry picking.

Cherry picking is the use of arbitrary starting and ending points in a statistical analysis, usually only incorporating a minimal amount of purposely chosen data, for the express purpose of proving a predetermined conclusion. It’s one of the worst fallacies imaginable in statistical analysis. You have to take a holistic approach and incorporate EVERY metric possible when trying to flesh out statistically significant conclusions from data sets.

You don’t get there without winning games and the goal is to put an entertaining product on the field for those 8 dates(sometimes 9) for your paying customers because this is the entertainment business this is not necessarily about winning or losing. It’s why the players earn a mere fraction for the so called games that matter compared to those meaningless games that don’t matter to you guys

The problem this season was the team has lost too many free agents over the past few years and recent draft picks were not able to step in and fill the voids

JJ clan has rebuilt this roster on the fly at least three times since 2010 and never had a sustained period at the bottom of the division or conference. In fact, the Jones's biggest mistake was the entire Wade Phillips /Jason Garrett era

some proper context to the woe-is-us fest

over the past two years the cowboys have lost their starting center, starting RB, at least four WR, the QB favorite and most reliable target, quality lD-ine depth.Lets look at this thing in totality and not be a whinny fan

Ok Stephen

Wow.
Jerry the GM has run this once proud and great franchise, into the ground.
So sad to see as a lifelong fan.
