Yep, why would Bill want another #1 when finds talent in alot of other rounds.

Cassel inherited a record breaking offense from the year before that still had it's too main stars, who are almost unstoppable, in Moss and Welker. I'm not saying that Cassel was completely lucky, but most of the time I left coming away pretty unimpressed, especially against teams who were *decent* at blitzing. But, I kept saying that some team is going to get eager to get Cassel, pay way too much for him, and regret it in the end.

I think the Pats had no intention of paying him that franchise money all along and just wanted to keep him for awhile and be glad that they get a 2nd round pick out of him. The Chiefs screwed the pooch on this one because they do have Tyler Thigpen and I'd be surprised if Cassel would play better than Thigpen did with last year's talent and Herm Edwards as the head coach.

Cassel sucks, he's product of a great offensive scheme.
If you notice, most of his yards came from reciever YAC.
All he could do well is scramble, and he did it too often.
Most of the time it was- Should I throw, nah jumst scramble....

Vrabel is old and not as productive as he has been in the past.
Not to mention the cap space NE saved from this trade is huge.

KC is going to wish they didn't trade for Cassel. He'll only be decent if he plays in a west coast offense.

The 2 for a 2nd is a steal, they could of gotten a 1st, but this is a top of round 2nd. Cheap contract.
