At least one organization takes QB coach seriously

Nice to see an organization that puts standards on developing a QB

I think this is more a matter of him realizing that he doesn't fit gruden's style and work environment....it is the same as if you were looking to move to a new job and you just couldnt see the match with the hiring manager and role....might be a good role but not a good fit.

I missed the point.

Are you saying the Cowboys care or don’t care.

And how does Gannon’s not wanting the job relate to Dallas

Do you think Jerry cares enough to bring in coaches who will actually do some good for the franchise? I don't. The ones he has now, all of them, aren't getting the job done.

Gruden just began his “organization” in Oakland. How does anyone know what his standards are?

Jon G’s eventual QBC might put in all the time and intensity he can muster and still not develop a franchise QB.

Rich Gannon has been out of football how long with no one knocking on his door. But his former coach tapped him out of familiarity similar to what’s going on here. Difference being Kellen has been predicted as coach a while now. I’m not gleaning what you are. Especially considering Gannon apparently has no heart, which reflects a bit on Grudens judgement

I don’t think it’s really fair to say he has no heart. Being on staff of any professional team let alone the NFL takes A LOT of time away from family, friends, etc. I don’t blame him. He’s probably made enough money to live a nice rest of his life.

If anything, it reflects on Gruden’s judgement that he wanted a guy that can make his own decisions. Not a “yes man” like what he have here.

Perhaps. Sounded to me like he knew Gruden was gonna be on his *** lol

Actually it is more about having a head coach like Gruden who is hard-driving and expects a ton of commitment from the coaches.

Sounds like Gannon knows how hard he is from his playing days and got intimidated.

It's why I'm shocked you people are still here. I figured I'd be talking to myself by now.
