Are you saying a franchise with the Staubachs and Aikmans in the history books you’re comfortable with Prescott “ # 1 in Cowboys lore “ ? Tell the audience at home you’re not in that camp ….Dak absolutely is an NFCE killa but when the bus pulls up in Santa Clara or last year in Chicago or several years ago KC or Detroit it’s “ we will get better I take responsibility “ speech going on 11 yrs now .

How did you get that from the gif he posted lol? At the end of the day it’s not about what we are comfortable with it’s what it is. Records are meant to be broken. Especially in the ever evolving sport like football. At the end of the day SBs say you were the best that year.

I think that is one Cowboys fan who actually ranks Dak Prescott over Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach. Who else belongs on the list with him? That is a debatable, but that single Cowboys fan used 'lore' in the right definitional context of the word. And I disagree with that single fan one hundred percent for that very reason.

That's my point ......I can't imagine a single Cowboys fan publicly willing to say Dak Prescott is the greatest Cowboys QB of all time (over Aikman and Staubach), and I'm not talking about stats. We are talking about two of our greatest QBs wearing the gold jackets. I don't/won't believe it unless I see it. Even his strongest hardcore supporter won't go that far IMO.
