At least Romo can heave the ball 55 yards downfield

Romo's TD pass to Dez traveled 55 yards in the air.

It's not a 60-yarder or 65-yarder, but it suggests his back might be a lot better now.

Honestly, I think Romo did a double take to see if he was really that open.

They showed a replay from behind Romo and I swear he pulled the ball down for a brief second like "What am I missing?"

He was asked about that during after game interview and he said he did double check to see if he was missing something before throwing.

Play of the game for me from Romo was when he made two rushers crash into each other, hilarious lol I think he'll be ok and he'll get better but we need to lean more on the run game & get out of this habit of having Romo bail out this team. I saw this stat today, this was Romo's 21st 4th quarter comeback that just tells you how often we're in positions where we're relying on Tony to get us out of tough spots.

There's been a great deal of conjecture concerning whether or not Romo is capable of having a deep ball to offer in the event one is called for. I made the comment to my son that it appears he's truly capable of making the deep ball happen if need be but doesn't always seem very consistent when attempting to do so.

Perhaps he'll get better about that as time and a return to better conditioning permits. I know for sure both he, Garrett and Witten have commented that he's getting better every day, so maybe he deserves the benefit of the doubt that what they're saying is actually true and not merely feel-good, biased claims. Time will more than likely tell us if it's actually true or not.

can I get a video of this? cant find it anywhere

Couldnt find it anywhere.. did you miss it during the game?

On third-and-13, Romo took off up the middle as the pocket collapsed. He made a funky move on linebacker Alec Ogletree after about 10 yards and slid after picking up the first down.

“The run was good,” Romo said. “To make one guy miss -- that was obviously an exceptional move that I think he probably wants back.”

Wasn't really a slide, more of a flop forward...lol

Romo appeared to be a bit more mobile and his passes had more zip.

We need him clicking on all cylinders. A win against the Saints will be huge for this team.

Lose and that proverbial corner will never be turned.

I'll believe Romo is okay when I see him complete a deep out for a first down.

His issues are his legs more so than his back. His legs are getting stronger as evidenced by that throw and his 3rd down run. Neither of which he could do week 1. Give him time to keep getting stronger, and his performance should keep getting better.

But but but Dez had to stop to catch the pass.

Honestly, I think Romo did a double take to see if he was really that open. Dez is never that open. Otherwise he could have easily hit him in stride.

Romo said basically the same thing. He said he waited an extra moment because players are never that wide open and he couldn't believe it initially.

I think Romo is still Romo even with the back surgery. The problem is Romo having to get used to the oline giving him eternity of time to throw. I think we are all shocked by the amount of time Romo is having to throw these days. The oline should deserve as much credit for that play as much as Romo or Dez.
