Ha.....I'll takeTwo Rings and Two SB MVPs mixed in with an awful 25INT season vs. Romos 1 playoff victory in his career? Who wouldn't?
I wouldn't take Eli because he isn't a better QB. You say rings and MVPs but that's a team accomplishments not a player. Eli has no run game and no defense and what happens, been shut out twice this season.

Romo deserves blame for losing but he is a superior QB to Eli

Including telling the truth.
Yes, Giants had a good Defense and a good O'Line......but Eli played exceptional in both playoff runs. For years I've seen posts here about Romo playing poorly due to his O'Line (yet somehow they managed a 13-3 season), does that not factor in to Eli's performance this season, he has no protection.

I'll move along, I just love to see the bitterness in this OP. Enjoy Eli's 25 INT season...... the two rings aren't a distant memory to any Giants fans. A distant memory would be 1996.....not 2011.

Not all Cowboy fans are irrational, some of us give credit where credit is due.

Yes, you do. I'm sory to come in here with that approach, I was mainly pointing towards the OP. And for the record, I think Tony Romo is a very good QB.

Let's take a realistic look at Eli this year. I am not taking blame off of him because he is definitely part of who is to blame. But, there are two other factors to think about when looking at those 25 INT's.

1. The OLine is the worst it has been since Eli has been entrenched as the franchise QB.
2. How many of those interceptions are on the WR's for running the wrong route or cutting it off too soon? I can tell you that Louis Murphy Jr. alone is responsible for at least 4. Nicks and Cruz also were at fault at times.

I am not putting this miserable season all on Eli. I believe he can still win but he needs help. He isn't Peyton who can do it with whomever you give him to work with.

At least Eli and Giant fans have 2 SBs in the last 7 years to drown their sorrows in......we have a playoff victory...yay....bash Eli if it makes you feel better but it doesn't change how bad the Cowboys are.

I would take those rings and this year's ridicule over what we have experienced in the same span. I know, crazy right?

But E-Lie does this season! And the rings are a distant memory.

Not really.....2 time Super Bowl champ that has absolutely no team but a very good head coach still can rebound better than us next year

Romo can still guide his team to a division title, but the goofball can't.

LOL same crap different year 3 years in a row......does it even matter cause we won't go anywhere in the playoffs anyways.

Lets see if Romo can pull it off this year.

Just like the last two

Eli is streaky. He took a wildcard team to the SB and Won. Eli can get on a roll and play good football. Romo gets on a roll but its not the one fans like.

What the heck is with another Eli thread? And wasn't the Op the guy that accused others of starting these threads? Whatever it takes to make people better after yesterday I guess.......but I don't feel any better knowing another QB has 25 INT's when we're a hot mess.

The old "matters most" game cry. Romo gets this rep, but who stopped on the route when the ball was picked off?

That was frustration. It's like " *** Romo? Come on man! Every time? Then you just throw up your hands.

I'm surprised he hasn't been beaten down in the locker room yet.
