We will pick top 5 no doubt. But Cassel will turn some heads running this offense.
Won't matter 'cause Dez is still not Dez and playing with a banged up knee. Can't jump.

The challenge is next year's crop isn't looking too rosy either.
I hope they blow us out both times. Help us secure a top 3 pick and help us justify showing Garrett the door in the process (i know, i know....we're stuck with him...yadda...yadda....yadda.....).
I hope we get a top 5 pick
Romo's not hanging around to be a backup on this team. He'll start as long as he can and then call it a career.
I don;t care what we get from it - I will never hope to lose, let alone blown out, by the 'Skins. I hate them with a passion.
How does everyone feel about Connor cook ? Very mixed opinions going around
So you'd rather win a few meaningless games the rest of this season and walk away from this debacle with some moral victories rather than setting up a position to draft a franchise QB that'll keep us relevant for years to come?
So....we have a terrible team that cannot win without Romo, yet you actually see Jerry and Co drafting a blue chip QB at the top of the draft just to have him sit behind Romo throughout his first contract? Then we have to resign him before he actually is the Cowboys starter, and meanwhile, we enter next season the same way with the same team, no better on offense or defense with out top first rounder?
I'm not saying it's not wise to gamble on a QB next year (though a top 5 QB is a huge contract for a non-starter), but do you really see Jerry doing that over a sure thing at DL, DB, or WR?
Personally, unless there's a Luck or Winston on the board for us, I don't see us taking that gamble. I see a trade down for multiple first rounders, taking a top Safety or DL. Possibly taking a QB gamble on development in rounds 2 or 3, but you can't waste a rare top 5 pick on a QB to sit behind Tony unless he's a super blue-chipper.

Best case scenario for this team is maybe they win a couple more games this year. That's 5-11 at best, IMO. That should at least be in contention for the 5th pick.
I worry about the Washington games. That's still a bad team.
