At this point would you take Wagner for Claiborne straight up?

When it got leaked we were going to draft Wagner if we had stayed put, most of the board reaction was negative. In fact, I recall quite a few were happy we traded up if it meant we would have walked away with Brockers/Wagner.

Yes but they wouldn't. If the Draft was a "ReDo" today Wagner goes @ worst top 10, Claiborne in the late 2nd round @ best.

Keep in mind this came right after the Carr signing. Putting it into a whole other level of awful.

You wouldn't think one front office is capable of two huge blunders like that in a span of 6 weeks or whatever it was.

That offseason is what hit the accelerator on the decline.

We actually had a top 10 defense until we started getting all of these injuries, and now we're set back even further because Garrett needed a scapegoat and Rob Ryan was fired. Why is it that guys look better before they get here and look better after they leave? Carr looked great in KC. Comes here and is on an unstable team wit constantly rotating coordinators and that can't get pressure on a QB. Looks awful. Pacman Jones and Terrance Newman both look quite a bit better on the Bengals.

We're switching coordinators and defensive schemes regularly and investing all of our first round picks on offense and anyone wonders why this defense sucks? It's not really a surprise why our corners look awful when there is no pressure on the QB. Even if we had Brockers and Wagner on this team, we'd be complaining about how the defense sucks because they'd be stuck in the same defensive vortex.

IMO, no, I wouldn't make the trade...our DB situation would become horrible while the LB spot gets better....and, both players are impacted by the units that they are on...if Mo was on Seattle D, then he would look like an all-pro with a pass-rush and other DBs around him...stick wagner on the dallas D, and you have a fish out of water trying to make up for the rest of the sub-par unit

as of right now, no, I don't make the trade straight up
