At what point did you all know we would lose?

I disagree.....I think cowboyszone would take our chances with someone on offense getting 1 yard versus Suisham getting 48.

You underestimate the whine.

I was still believing at the half. When they stopped them on the opening drive I was in full on believe mode thinking that they had a chance to regroup and make the adjustments necessary.

Then I took the dogs for a walk in the woods.

The sideline shots showed alot of our players on the bench, rather than up cheering on their teammates, which was something I was really getting used to and excited about, when we were down 14. It felt like alot of them had checked out, which I didn't understand.

I noticed that, too.

It was still early in the game, and the body language on the sideline said it all. They were done.

Minnesota gaining first downs while up 27-3 and eating clock. Even when it was 20-3, it was a 3 possession game, and since they had probably lost all faith in the kicker, it was essentially a 3 TD game. When the score went up to 27, it only meant we needed 2 point conversions with the 3 TDs. And there was still time left to do it if the team decided to execute perfectly, without the assistance of miracle errors like 50 yard pass interference penalties or turnovers/special teams scores.

When it got to the point where the only chance was to stop them, score, convert 2 pts, onside kick, score, convert 2 pts, onside kick, score, and convert 2 pts is when I had given up the last shred of a sliver of hope.

And it made me sad in my pants.

Eventually I just ended up playing Super Mario Bros. Wii with my wife.

I started to have a feeling that we would lose around the 2nd Quarter when I saw Ray Edwards either hitting Tony Romo or getting extremely close to hitting Tony Romo after he threw the ball each time.

When Flozell Adams went down, I knew this wasn't going to be our night.

The moment Flo went down I knew it was probably over because I knew then that our tackle situation was going to be in a really bad place for the rest of the game.

When the clock in the 4th said 0:00.. LOL.

Naw, that's BS.

I think the missed 48 yrd field goal in the 1st was the start. I can't and still don't understand that one. I mean, with a kicker who is kicking consistent and well? Yes, take the points. Dallas signed a kicker who got sent home by another team for stinking up the joint with misses. And they leave it to this guy, in a dome, on the road, second round of the playoffs? Jesus.

That and the fact the defense decided to replay the first Dallas loss to the Giants this season in their efforts yesterday.

Awww, hell, it happens. Time for next season.

When Wade inexplicably sent the field goal unit out for a long field goal early in the first quarter. You have a weak kicker, you're on the road, the crowd is going crazy, you have momentum ....

Dumb decision.

For me it was at the end of our first possession in the second half. We came out of halftime down 14 points. A 3rd QTR TD would bring us within 7 and make it a game again. Minny opened the second half with hte ball. We needed a defensive stop. Once again, Our D swhut "The Greatest FRAUD in Dome" down. No busted plays this time. We pinned them back, they punted and we had a return to our 45 - 55 yards away from making it a game and reclaiming momentum. Garrett had just 55 yards to go to prove he has eveloved as playoff-worthy coordinator. And we wnt THREE-AND-OUT! The Vikings anticipated EVERY one of Garret's play calls. He was OUTCOACHED again. No adjustments on offense were made and this continued the rest of hte game. I sawno misdirections or attempts to move the pocket, or to rll Romo out in space. The coordiantor clearly had not prepared or practiced for the possibility of shifting in the OL. No contingency plans were in place. Garrett simplt did not know what to do. Once that was evident...once we punted on that drive...it was at that point that I knew!

Even at 14-3, I liked our chances because we were moving the football and they had caught some breaks.

When Flo went down and I saw how the Minny sharks smelled blood in the water, it was over. When we started helping Free instead of Colombo, everything was out of whack.

And while he caught quite a few balls, Witten was simply awful with his blocking...I didn't even see a guy who really wanted to stick his head in there.

And don't forget, Jerry said, Suisham was not doing well from 44-45 yards during pre game warm ups....and that anything beyond was, in fact, "dicey"

That decision by Wade was beyond strange.

I didn't think the decision to attempt the FG was wrong. We had been moving the ball, it was time to get some points, any points, from it. If we had been stuffed on fourth down that would have been far more deflating.

He gave his player a chance. Suisham failed.

Right there. I was told I was being stupidly negative at the time by our guests, but then they saw the trajectory of the game and agreed.
