At what point did you all know we would lose?

And don't forget, Jerry said, Suisham was not doing well from 44-45 yards during pre game warm ups....and that anything beyond was, in fact, "dicey"

That decision by Wade was beyond strange.

I didn't agree with it at the time but it wasn't a bad decision and here's why.

At the time we were in what looked like a low scoring game. We weren't scoring and were doing a fairly decent job defending them.

It appeared at the time that any points would carry a high premium.

I also think Wade realized the red zone issues we were having and foresaw us attempting and needing to make a few more FGs.

Well here's a chance to perhaps give our kicker a chance to get off on the right foot.
48 yard 1st quarter, realitively low pressure attempt.

Missing that FG was exceptable. It allowed Shawn to just kick away.

If he makes it, perhpas he makes the next one.

6 more points keeps us in that game and the pressure on Minny a good bit longer.

Except that is really at the end of Shawn's range, so it was a bad decision on many fronts. Technically - momentum wise and surrendered field position.

Not to place this on the Kicker, because he wasn't the reason he lost. The Vikings were.

BUT!!! I don't care. You don't put your kicker who has missed key kicks in other games in this position. Especially a kicker who was **** canned because of the same deal in Washington. You take your chances with the offense, other then the unproven rattled kicker. If you fail to get the 1st with your offense, then you give up less field position. you miss the kick? they still get momentum and the yards plus because of the failed kick.

I know, I know. You ask "But who do they get?", ANYONE except for a kicker who just got booted off a team for not making kicks...

And why oh why does this OC get away from running up the middle when it was workin, only to call a toss out to the #1 non juking Barber? And then lose yards on a tackle loss. Huh? I just don't get it.

No. The O Line needs upgrading on the left side for sure.

I started to have a feeling that we would lose around the 2nd Quarter when I saw Ray Edwards either hitting Tony Romo or getting extremely close to hitting Tony Romo after he threw the ball each time.

When Flozell Adams went down, I knew this wasn't going to be our night.

As soon as we missed the FG when we should have went for it on 4th and 1 and Minny came back and got that TD and the safety never saw the ball or realized he had it.

The team just looked liked it was punch drunk. To many missed opportunities early. I just had a bad feeling at that point but I knew it was over when they went up 14-3

When I saw Witten try to block Jared Allen. The French Infantry put up stiffer resistance.

I had a feeling before the game that we were over confident. Reading things about having to play the Saints agains etc. but by half time of the game I told my wife we were done.

I don't remember the team saying that, fans maybe but who cares what we write.

I pretty much knew after the Romo fumble on the sack. When we stopped them, I still had hope but the missed FG in the 3rd pretty much sealed it for me.

The reason I say that is because if Flozell doesn't get hurt they can but Free in at RT and who knows what may have happened.
The sad thing is that I don't believe this coaching staff would have made that change. For me the end came clearly in sight not in losing Flo but the play immediately afterwards putting allen in a position to make a great play. Everything about that play was set up for Allen to come in and wreak havoc on Romo. How much thought went into that? I don't make football a living I'm just a fan but I knew that Witten wasn't going to slow down Allen.

I'm surprised nobody said:

"When Jerry Jones came on the sidelines" :p:
You know I liked that jones went down there. Whatever else I may think of this guy he is a stand up guy. He loves his Cowboys.

I didn't think the decision to attempt the FG was wrong. We had been moving the ball, it was time to get some points, any points, from it. If we had been stuffed on fourth down that would have been far more deflating.

He gave his player a chance. Suisham failed.

Agreed.

And he had plenty of leg -- he just pulled it.
