You really think any of those four were primarily responsible for yesterday's loss? And, if not, why suggest anybody give up on them?
ill take a stab at this, nothing against you personally. but lets try to look at the other side. Preface tho, i hate the whole youth movement sentiment. For starters lets say we have a youth movement of Terrance Williams, Dunbar, and Holloman, yes the same can be said of others, but a youth movement isnt always the case, so lets get that out of the way. In this instance, tho, I think you have to look at it because Witten, Romo, Ware, and Hatcher are NOT getting younger. So what do you do at this point? Insert one youth one year at a time? I dont think that is working, shall we get a young qb wiht older vet WR's? Whats the chances that may work?
I think th eorganization needs to look at the aging players and say to the next coach, "You have control of the roster" and if he wants to shave it, let him do it. This core isnt going to do it, its not going to be done this year and you cant keep fixing a flat tire, you will need a new tire. I for one am ready. Garrett has proven with help, he does not want this job. I for one am ready for the next guy. I hate to say it, i wanted to try and get behind garrett, but hes not doing it.
At some point, if you are losing the battle you have to look at the pieces and say "time to change tactics" It sucks, we all want to win, but right now our coaches are not looking at the pieces and saying "lets use our strenghts."
Im laying the blame on the coaches, and the organization, MO did not ask to be drafted, he was drafted, than we changed schemes, not his fault. Same wiht other players, its not their fault, the coaches and the scouting department need to get on the same page and get the players that fit the successful schemes, not the flavors of the week.
