At what point does Dak get the playbook to work with skilled players?

Not really
There aren’t a lot of things you can really change
I think the biggest changes will be in pllaycalling more than scheme changes and route changes
Most route changes aren’t massive changes but more what each guy does on a particular play but routes in themselves are kinda similar everywhere. How you combine those routes is where I see chsnge
in theory but these are our Cowboys lol

He does not need a playbook, routes are routes, knowing where CeeDee will be on a slant will be different than say a Noah Brown. He should be playing "catch" with them running various routes against various coverages and various tempos like 3, 5, and 7 step drops, on the move plays etc. A playbook will address everything but he does not need that for the off-season at the very least MM should tell him to work on crossing routes or what teh offense will be based on, short vs deep, middle of the field as opposed to heavily to the outside of the numbers.
