How they don't give rico more carries till he is injured baffles me.

Rico Dowdle7 carries30 yards0- TD's4.29 average
Ezekiel Elliott6 carries16 yards0 TD's2.67 average
Deuce Vaughn4 carries11 yards0 TD's2.75 average

Start Rico, run Rico, and if Vaughn doesn't step up and actually contribute then he can go. You can grab just about any RB on the street can give you 2.5 yards a carry.
Not with 4 carries lol.
the problem is right in front of you charron! 17 carries total is not enough .

with dak and cd being overpaid. jerry and steve want to see some passing. Dallas HC will do what they want.
They have to run more even if behind, and be more innovative and block better.
As long as they are pass 1st and the stupid run on every 1st down is not smart.

I agree and Did MM say we are going to be a running team this year? So what does the Jones do go get us some one-legged RB that No team is afraid of.

Do you think with being here these past few weeks he's ready to get called up. I mean the few running plays that we have, shouldn't be too hard for him to grasp. Up the middle run up the middle run, up the middle run! Please give your thoughts, might be time to give Deuce a little rest!!
soon I hope.

While i do agree this run scheme is leaving alot to be desired...NO made them stop running, remember the game a couple years ago we beat the Brakes off Bears but Fields continued to run..great commitment to the run but no chance to win when your down that big and burning clock.

What is cooks going to do with our blocking? :lmao:
Probably better than Zeke. Dowdle actually had a decent day but too few carries. Cooks had a solid year 2 years ago and didn’t get any touches last year. He’s got more tread on the tires than Zeke

The rb back room is already bad. I can't imagine a 29 year old Dalvin Cook making it worse.
Dowdle is our best RB which says a lot when a depth player is your best at a position. Cooks I think has a better chance to help than Zeke does. He’s just too slow to the hole

Well it's hard to keep running when most of your carries get less than 3 yards a pop. But it's clear which back ran the best that day. They still think passing will open up run lanes but it really doesn't in this scheme. We can still tell by formation what they want to do. Been this way for 14 years now. Outdated power run scheme without much power and zero creativity getting the RB's to the second level.. having said that Rico still looks like he's their best option to run so they should maybe feed him and see.

yes let each back have a whole game, then decide which one should be starter!
A RB cant get in a groove with 1 or 2 carries a qtr.
