Most said, its because teams have figured out how to contain him in the pocket. One guy said he has no worries about Tony, and later said he is confident he will reduce those turnovers.

Surprising 2 of them said we beat Seattle this week.

Myself I think it has more to do with the lack of protection he has seen. Right now there is not much of a pocket to work from and Romo is forced to improvise. Even on 3 step drops the line is not holding up. I think the OL has to do a better job of helping Romo as well as helping the RB as of late they have struggled to do either.

The idea that teams have figured out Romo by "keeping him in the pocket" is one of the dumbest memes that's been picked up by the media in a long time.

Oh, and despite teams figuring him out, he's posted 110+ QB ratings in 2 of his last 3 performances.

I agree and considering the pressure he is having to overcome he has done a pretty decent job of making plays. By the same token if your constantly under pressure any QB will make mistakes.

what 2 guys picked dallas?

Let's not forget that the coaching staff has put the burden of winning the game squarely on Romo's shoulders. How much have we run in the month of december as opposed to passing? And this is his first year starting.

It's more like the coaching staff goes into panic mode the second we get behind....even in the first quarter. This has to change.

Everyone is harping on Romo's interception and fumbles. But he did bring us back to lead the game when we were down 13-0, then TNew brought us back from 20-13, and Romo brought us back to lead when we were behind 30-24.

In the past month, the way the defense has been playing, Tony knows that he has to make plays and score because we will fall farther behind .

Yeah, his turnovers hurt, but how about the interceptions that Roy and Henry dropped in the end zone, or the fumbled punt by Newman that led to the score right before the half. Reverse any of those plays and we're not talking about Romo. BTW Romo was not the one who made Kitna look like Joe Montana.

Re-watch the game.....I did earlier today.

Dude, I agree with you. I think Romo is the LEAST of our problems. I think the only reason the game was close was because of him

Staying in the pocket is fine if he has time to throw and isn't hit the second he releases the ball. That's the problem of late.

Only because the QB Rating doesn't take forced errors like fumbles and bad decisions into account. Those 110+ would be more like 40's if a fumble or stupide decision counted against the QB like an interception does. A QB that hands 17 points to an opponent like Detroit and then posts a 110 rating demonstrate what a complete joke the QB rating is.

The fumbles were mistakes on his part, sure, but what does this have to do with teams figuring out Romo?

The QB rating measures production. If teams have been "figuring him out" he wouldn't have been producing those types of stats.

Yes, and when you consider that 17 of Detroit's points were the direct result of Romo's errors, this statment makes even more sense :shootme:

At most 13 points were, but I would argue 10.

His errors produced 17 points for Detroit. Does he get credit for those too or do we lay that on the defense and give Romo a pass?? :D

how about the other 22 points in the game....do those go to Romo too? QB's make mistakes and when he does the defense should stand up and hold the other team. He can't with this defense.....he has to be perfect because he can't count on the defense to bail him out. Yet he has to bail the defense out everygame.
