I would play it relatively conservative on the first series. We can't afford a turnover on the first series. Plus, I'd like Julius to get at least 2 runs on the first series.

Run a 3 WR set most of the game. You can run draw plays to JJ out of this formation. You also have Witten in the game, so essentially, you're running 4 good receiving threats plus JJ out there at all times.

I like that - rotate Crayton in there. Spread their 3-4 and let JJ loose.

I've only been saying this for over a week. Not like it's rocket science.

1. Their run defense is good.

2. The pass defense sucks.


My oh my, what should we do?


We need to come out with 2 WRs/2 TEs/1 RB, and split Witten out wide. Force their LBs to cover. Have Witten opposite Campbell's side, that way it forces Foley to cover him. If the safety comes down to cover Witten instead then we've got 1 on 1 coverage on the outside.

If that doesn't work, come out in 3 WRs/1 TE/1 RB and force them out of their 3-4 defense. If Bledsoe decides he wants to get rid of the ball on time we'll move the ball on them. Not to mention if they are forced into their nickel D it takes Jamal Williams out of the game, and that'll help us to open holes in the running game for JuJo.

Exaactly Polite should only be in inside the ten yard line. 2TE sets and 3 WR should be our bread and butter. Julius runs real well out of a singleback set and those formations force teams to bite on the draw which his forte.
