This is completely false. The appeal of the Cowboys will never go away, just like the Yankees. Dallas hasn't won anything in value in nearing 3 decades, yet they are still the most valuable franchise in the world in any sport or one of them year after year. The DFW itself is not causing that. Dallas fans took over the Rams and Chargers stadiums in the last few seasons. Same as Arizona.
its generational. Im 54 and have 4 daughters... all Cowboys fans. The Cowboys support isnt waning, only in your hopeful thoughts.

Look at the top rated games last season.
Look at home attendance last season.
Look at price for tickets to away Cowboys games. Look at the prices of the game before and after Dallas comes to town and then get back to me and tell me their support is falling off.

I think the wide spread appeal of the Cowboys is waning. They are still THE thing in the DFW region but not so much elsewhere. I spend lots of time in Florida. I use to see several folks every day wearing Cowboy gear. Now it is rare to see anyone dressed that way. I suspect it is the same in California. Thirty years of accomplishing nothing has taken it toll.
bahahahhahahahahahahahahhaha. Because you see not so many jerseys their support has disappeared? smh

You’ve obviously never been to Oxnard. Southern California has the best weather in the country. Mid 70’s every single day with no humidity.
Yep, they are even wearing hoodies there in interviews, saying it is chilly. These players don't deserve these Country Club settings after the GB debacle...

I am not arguing that the Cowboys are not the most popular team in the NFL. Stats prove that. I am saying the core of their support is in the DFW region and that is huge. That is enough to keep them on top. I stand by my argument that the support outside the region is starting to wain. You see it when you travel. Down in FL the Cowboys use to be the team. Now they are just another popular team in a group of perhaps 10 or so.

When was the Pic taken? No players in the Pic. Could be hours before practice. Context is important.

Gosh. Had the Cowboys been to a SB in the past 5 years or even the past 10 years fans would be swarming Oxnard just to get a glimpse of the players and coaches. Heat, distance, and anything else would not have kept folks away. Like it or not support slips when team success slips.

I wonder what the general fan interest as a whole is. I am sure that even visits to this site are down because of fan apathy. I mean who really thinks that the philosophy of the Jones of doing the same thing expecting different results is going to pan out. I know I have very little hope for Cowboys immediate future success given the current cast and futility of Jerry and STephen!

Im curious, how much do you travel... to actual games? I go to 3-5 per year and I live in Ca. I actually see it up close. Every away game I go to, there is a SIGNIFICANT number of Cowboys fans. That is simply factual. It isnt something I care about. I wish you were right, as I get tired of getting fleeced to attend Cowboys games. I live 90 minutes from the Niners stadium and Ill probably skip that game because I just cant stomach paying 400 bucks for nose bleed seats, but that is what happens when Dallas comes to town.

Well uh, and I’m not being trite here, but we’ll get those fans back quicker than a toad frog can circumcise a mosquito in a **********.

Is this the first “ hot summer “ in history ?

Do you live in Ca? Apparently not, because yea, this Summer is not like others. 31 days in July and we have probably had 20 or more days of 103 plus temps... so yep, its pretty freaking hot. Ive lived in Ca my entire life... this is not a normal Summer.
