I hope he is finally fed up with this grossly dysfunctional franchise's crap and demands a trade.

Frankly, I hope Dez, Sean Lee, and Ware (though I doubt Ware could demand much) follow suit.

I thought the same thing before he signed that huge contract. Probably too late for him to do that now.

A couple of things working against you on this.
- He's overpaid, knows he's overpaid, and is perfectly happy just being overpaid. He's said it before himself, "if this is the worst thing that ever happens to me, I've lived a great life."
- Nobody is going to take on his contract.
- We couldn't afford to trade him.

babe Laufenberg last year said that he thought Jason witten should ask for a trade and would love to see him go play somewhere where he has a chance.

its funny to me that the people closest to this team understand what the jones family have done here and they know it wont change.

Romo is also part of the problem.

I'm sure someone will misconstrue that as the loss being Romo's fault, but that's not what I mean at all.

We have a quarterback who can't threaten the entire field with his arm and doesn't seem to possess the ability to buy time with his legs any longer. He's made a lot of smart decisions, but the guy has basically put forth a bus driver effort this year in all but the Denver game.

We can't have that from a quarterback that commands as much of the cap as he does.

If I was Romo, I never would have resigned with this team before exploring other options. Like you said, he, Dez and Lee deserve way better than this team.

Tony Romo isn't overpaid. He would've received a similar deal somewhere else no doubt about it.

I agree with the OP, but have resigned myself to realize they signed their contracts and chose money. So, eh, they get what they deserve really.

I Love Romo, Ware, Witten, but they all took the $ from Jerry knowing full well who he is. They went in to these deals with eyes wide open on Garrett's incompetence.

I hate seeing their talent wasted here, but they are all men and made their choice too.

I would love to see Romo with a new coach and offensive system. He's been with Garrett now since 2008!

I would buy this if there wasn't a dude with a noodle arm in Denver about to break the record for TDs in a season.

Tony Romo does not deserve better. His lack of leadership skills are a big reason that this team has underachieved in years past. Tony as the QB should have told TO to shut up like McNabb did. He was always very greedy with his contract and handcuffed the team with the salary cap. The only person I feel sorry for on that list is Ware and only because he took a smaller contract when he was the hottest FA available so he wouldn't hurt the teams cap. He should have just gotten paid since the hometown discount did no good. I love Witten but his contract was more than fair to remain in this ********.

Only Payton Manning and Drew Brees have thrown for more TDs this year than our "bus driver", and only Alex Smith has thrown for less ints (1).

How do you back up your statement when reality disagrees with you?

Reality waves bye bye to most Cowboys fans.
