I find the show quite boring. It's a shame. It looks like every single other contest reality show. I fell asleep lastnight watching it.

Of course they did.

Kids can't do anyting anymore.

This country is raising a bunch of ninnies.

The best is when I heard about some places not keeping score anymore. They just let the kids play sports and never determine a winner or a loser.

This way everyone loses, lol.

:bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

At that age it does not matter trust me I did the little league stuff and the kids win or lose got over it in about oh 5 seconds and was more worried about the snow cone or the flowers in the field at that age it is about teaching the fundamentals.

Why are you projecting your own failures and success on the kid's. That is why they quit keeping score not because of the kids but the parents and trying to live through their kids. It is the parents that can not control themselves not the kids not able to cope with winning and losing.

Now you can not ride that all the way eventually you have to keep score and make it matter but it is been proven teaching proper way to play in the 1st year is more important than winning at that age. It comes and comes naturally from within the kids.

(I can't pass this up. Sorry in advance, lol.)

Our WR's coach still has ringing in his ears and he can't hear anything yet because somebody was screaming in his face all the time.

I agree. All of them are camp fodder.

Thats the guy who was hurt, right?

I skipped through the show and saw parts of it last night. Don't really care to much for it.

Im pulling for that big WR Jones. Hes not the best one of the bunch but hes pretty quick and strong, i really like his attitude. Even though hes not the best hes mentally tough and finishes every time.

Everything Holley does is impressive. That guy is a football player, point blank.

Do you think they will notice if we just swapped Stanback out with him, they sort of have the same hair, they may not even notice?

LOL! I think they'd notice simply because Holley wouldn't be on the injuried list all the time and that would be a huge change.

While I don't totally agree with everything in this post I do agree with the idea that the parents are the biggest issue in kids sports. I've always felt, watching my kids play, that it's the parents, and their living through their kids crap they pull in the stands and on the sidelines, that forced little leagues and such to stop keeping scores. Far too many of these parents are completely pathetic in the way they carry themselves during these things. You'd think their kids were competing for NFL jobs, and millions of dollars, right then and there.

Just sad, really.

As far as sports go the worst sports parents i've been around, thus far, are wrestling parents. The way some of those people act is just...wow.

Did she say the Bull Ring was outlawed by Pop Warner? What the hell?

And she said what I thought. These guys were just puking so much because they weren't in shape to start with.

That's sad if true. I remember at the end of practices we would all gather around and be so excited to play that game.

Pop Warner football was great.

I am going to hav eto make a thread in the political zone for most of what I want to say but I will say what I can here.

First of all it is your generation that is making the rules. If anyone is raising ninnies its the generation that is doing the complaining to be blamed.

Second of all the athletes that are of the current generation are superior to anything that has come before. We are stronger, faster and simply better athletes.

Quite frankly the baby boomer generation likes to complain about generation x and the text generation but at the end of the day all they have done is make a mess of things.

I'm 37. I am Gen X.

What's this 'we' when you mention athletes of today? lol.

And I said 'Country' when I referenced who's raising the ninnies. So that includes everyone living here. Including me, even though I don't have kids yet.

From the look of the preview for next week, at the very end of it; it seemed like Swan pulled his muscle again and he was yelling. So I think Swan gets cut next week...

So that's why when a bunch of kids get together and go to playground they don't keep score either right?

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

Having no winner or loser is teaching kids to be stupid.

Competition at any level is good for humans. We need it to survive.

If man didn't have it built into their DNA we wouldn't be here on CZ today.
