Bobby Carpenter is a terrible football player and it amazes me that with how bad our ST coverage units were we're "lauding" him for being average in that capacity at best.

This is the first guy that should go. We don't need bad football players on the Dallas Cowboys regarless of their relationship with the QB. Bobby sucks like suck has never sucked before or ever will again.

Yeah youre right he made more ST than anyone not named Davis and missed 4 games because he sucks at it. He just got lucky fighting through traffic wedges and blocks. You're right. You should go into scouting.

No i am just saying that he didn't suck at ST. I am saying that if he were to get a legitimate shot he would perform well just like he has performed well at every duty he has been given so far.

I am probably his only supporter left but I will maintain.

The dude cover kicks and punches wedges. Soft gys do that all the time.There have been two times in the preseason hes gotten plays int he middle. One time his thigh was hurt and the other the opposing oline was blowing our guys 3+ yards off the line of scrimmage.

Its wrong then. He was sharing time with Singleton, the vet, to start the season and beat him out. I specifically remember him starting the Atlanta game where he was assigned to spy Vick. Thats how he got those sacks because he contained Vick remarkably well.
