I'm curious as to why some people keep saying this. Garrett wasnt on this team when Laufenberg was.

I am unsure that they could still not be friends whether they played on the same squad or not.

I thought he mentioned it somewhere, theebs probably knows better.

no they are close though dbair.

But it doesnt stop babe from questioning play calls and stuff.

its just that He is currently saying all the things people do not want to hear so they use it as a means to belittle what he says.

I like Babe and the things he usually has to say but he clearly has not been completely honest with regard to Jason's performance.

It is fine to call out the TO disruption, the Romo debacle ect; but give Jason his due reward for a crappy 2008 campaign as well with the same vigor.

Just like I already stated, if Babe can not understand why Jason was so good in 2007 but so bad all of a sudden in 2008, then he is simply in denial.

He wrongly disregards Sporano's influence, never mentions defensive coordinator's identifications of Jason's tendencies in 2008 and the complex offensive cooperation in 2007.

According to Babe it was all Jason in 2007, so he is puzzled by the 2008 performance but can not seem to grasp the obvious, perhaps due to his loyalties or perhaps to his perceptions of how the offense was ran in 2007.

Could it be Babe that Jason struggled in leadership and play calling this year without other excuses.

It gets tiring when people take a polar extreme view but can not be critical of the so called critics.

If you can not see the softball thrown Jason's way by Babe, perhaps denial runs deep across the board in media land.

careful I said I think we will be a 6-8 win team or less and I got jumped by a hundred people looking to make bets and other nonsense.

If somebody said bet over/under on 9 wins, I'm taking the under right now.

Some people are predicting the team's 2009 record and we haven't even had free agency or the draft.

Of course, we all know those things don't matter as far as the outcome of football games.

Jones has already said the team isnt going to be significant players in free agency. We'll probably lose much more than what we gain.

That said, it really doesnt matter what players they add or lose if the team's focus, discipline and attention to detail dont improve. Thats why this team was sitting home this yr, and that why this team has a good chance to be sitting home next yr.
