Casey Hampton is widely regarded as he best NT in the NFL.

13 tackles, no sacks.

Vince Wilfork, Kris Jenkins, Pat Williams, Shaun Rogers, they all have better numbers than Hampton.
A good NT on a good year should get around 40 tackles and 5 sacks.
Great is 60 Tkl and close to double digit sacks.

You realize, Canty pretty much sucked this season right? Spears has been the second best DL for cowboys, period, so far this year.

Fact alert.

Spears has had a pretrty good year. He was really active vs Washington too.

The only thing wrong with this team is the coaching -- this same team was 13-3 last year, and played the Giants very tough, coming within a hair of beating them three straight times.

Last year's team still had Parcells residue all over it -- he taught them discipline and how to play tough -- that carried over in Wade's first year, and with his better 3-4 schemes, that was the difference.

However, two years of Camp Cupcake and Wade's Favorite Grandfather ways, this team has lost what Parcells had instilled in them. Why is this so hard for everyone to fathom?

The same exact thing is going on in San Diego -- Marty Shottenheimer leaves and takes his tough-minded discipline with him. In Norv's first year with better schemes, they make the AFC championship and nearly beat the Pats without LT or Gates. Look at them this year.

So you are saying that the nose tackles on the #12, #15, #10, & #26 defenses, respectively, are better than the nose tackle on the #1 defense?

The DL in a 3-4 do not put up great #'s, they allow the others around them to put up great #'s. At least that's my opinion.
