I can't argue with that either, Newman wasn't good the first couple games. I still have faith him in him that it was just the couple of games and he hasn't fallen off a cliff. I have no hard evidence to suggest that he hasn't tumbled this season however, I'll admit that. At the same time, I also think we have even less evidence that Jenkins is a good CB at this time.

BTW, Smith just called out Jenkins for talking trash when he wasn't even covering him, so it's just one of those things. Smith wasn't saying anything directly about Jenkins' abilities.

He said that he didn't care what Jenkins' resume is but since he played the slot in the Giants game, he knew he isn't that good. Everybody knows he was playing the slot because they were switching Scandrick and Jenkins as starters...idiot.

first irvin introduced smith as one of the best wrs in nfl
smith says cowboys are a good football team, i grew up watching them, and they know how to grind it out, how to be finese too, and throw ball well

so in that you have to have good cover guys
newman i respect him, he is what he is, he is consistent, he plays whatever they expect him to play in the sytem whatever they run,

so playing players like that makes me grow, thats enjoyment part
frustration part is when you get in situations when teams are creative in passing games, i believe in throwing the ball alll the time

steve smith says how i approach another guy that isnt a professional like newman, since im a short napoleon complex type of guy, jenkins gives me an extra shove, and i say something to him and jenkins is being mouthy

so his resume shows me what he was when last week jenkins was playing in slot, when boys talk, grown men are quiet, so you dont need to be running your mouth, and if your that good your defensie coordinator would let you cover me by yourself,

i was suppose to run a slant, and because of coverage i got impatient, so newman shuffled, took inside technique, so i ws impatient and when i stopped, i tried to improvise, and at the wrong time, i s...... my qb, its my fault, not rb, not qb, i got caught improvising, so i let my guys down

i stood in front of lockerroom and told them im a spade a spade and i messed up, i got caught cheating, you know what they sayh in football if your not cheating your not trying

so basically he did call out jenkins saying he is a boy not a grown man that lets his game speak for him not his mouth

talking about running slants, 100, so im going to cross the guys face and do whatever i have to do to get there

its about a mind set that michael irvin said, and like slant route tht steve smith said he will run, its a mind set that you let opposing players know that your coming, and you had better be ready

Steve Smith is a thug who has attacked teammates as they left meeting rooms and broke another's nose last season.

And it amazes me that Owens gets ten times the venom this clown does.
