Sean Lee - LB - Cowboys
Jerry Jones said LB Sean Lee (hamstring) could return this week.

Lee has been out since aggravating his hamstring issue in Week 9. Jones has said Lee will return to a starting job, but it makes sense for the Cowboys to limit his snaps with Jaylon Smith and rookie Leighton Vander Esch playing well.

Tavon Austin - WR - Cowboys
Jerry Jones said Tavon Austin (groin) has a chance to return this week.

Austin has been sidelined since Week 6 with a groin injury. He will likely get some gadget touches once he returns, but Austin is not a fantasy factor.

That would be awesome. This is turning out to be a great season. Exceeding my expectations, which were 8-8 and being a playoff contender in weeks 16 & 17.

We need to defend home turf in the Wild Card game and I'll be very happy.

Really what’s the point in risking Lee before the playoffs? There’s a 50% chance he gets hurt again and is out for the season.

Austin and Irving need to get back. We could use another WR and desperately need the interior pressure that Irving can provide.

Keep him on the sideline where he can't get hurt. Keep the continuity on defense at the LB position.

Would be nice if David Irving came back but I think the ankle injury was a cover up and they just don't want to deal with him anymore this season.

Yea, I feel like if he ever became active we would get the distracted Irving, and not the guy from last year.
Damn shame his off the field life is a mess.

He needs to play football.

He's missed almost the entire season. It's time for Sean Lee to start playing football. If he reinjures himself that's fine.

So they give Lee his job back, but didn't give it to Romo? Interesting.

I say bring Lee back for the divisional round if we get there. Have some spot action in the wildcard game.

If that’s the case, I can’t see the FO bringing him back next year...

You're probably right but his talent is so high and his stock is so low that it would not surprise me if the Cowboys re-signed him.

He's only 25 years old and he is an incredible talent.

But there are rumors that he doesn't even like football anymore and that's on top of all the other off the field stuff.

Exactly. And considering Broaddas has mentioned on more than one occasion that Irving never once showed up for treatments. No where to be found. All the other injured players were working with Britt and the other trainers.

That “don’t like football anymore” bs would be the dealbreaker. You can’t cant do anything passionately if you don’t love it. Let him walk. He’s barely been on the field and we’re doing aight without him. Our cap situation about to get real and we need to be very judicious with how we allocate our salary cap...

No Irving, no Taco--No problem.

I try to not listen to rumors because rumors also said Cooper was "soft" and didn't love football. If he wants to play I'd bring him back on a favorable deal. You can't deny his talent.
