Available pass rushers

Looking at where this team is, I didn't expect it; in saying that I think this defense can do enough to get them to the plaayoffs with a decent pass rusher. Is there anyone worth trading for or any free agents worth taking a look at? The interior is a little weak but they get push but there is no one the opposing team has to worry about off the edge taking away their qb escape.

We need help on the d-line. I still have no idea what Sam is doing on the practice squad. Anyone that can play should be rotating on that line.

Last I read, Lawrence won't be available to play until the first or second week of November. Cleared to practice in a week or two though.

now that you mention it, I dont recall seeing him. His name was never mentioned. I guess I am so used of him being gone, I never watched for him.

I was wondering the same thing. He was credited with an assist on 1 tackle but I didnt notice him during the broadcast.

I would take Sam right now instead of Jack Crawford. Those big runs by Foster came on his side of the ball. Sam is better then him on either the run and the pass IMO.

Yeah. He might of been out there, because I'd forgotten to look. I thought I saw him coming in once, but might well have been mistaken. If he did get snaps, they were uneventful.

Thats funny but not what I meant, we have that on the PS I mean a legit rusher to help them apply pressure. If you recall past years we had Ware off thhe edge but the qb just had to step into the pocket and he was out of the equation. Now there is no pocket but the outside is available; and no Ware was/is not the answer his speed rush was played out.

I was thinking thhe same thing watchinng the game, he may turn out to be if nothing else good on passing downs; but he was supposedly a force in college so mybe a shot is warranted. Don't know who to sit to bring him up though. Maybe the guy with all te ST penalties.

And who is gonna give up their legit rusher in a trade? For what, a 4th round pick at most. Doubt Jerry trades anything higher. Trades during the season rarely if ever happen.

jack crawford was disappointing,i have no problem with promoting Sam.

I don't expect to see any serious upgrade in the pass rush like we need until the off season.

Well it doesn't have tto be their star at this point a teams second string may be better than what we have; I do not know which is why I am asking. Lawrence may very well be what we are looking for but I'm asking as I do not follow other teams or their players and maybe someone on here woud have an idea. Now would you like to help answer the question??? LOL

If I guessed, I'd say 15-20. Lawrence is the guy we need to be a player when he returns.

This is the worst set of edge rushers I've ever seen on the team and it's an embarrassment to the franchise. You could literally line up guys off the street right now and get the same production.
