Out of curiosity, what are the best comic book movies in your opinion? Is the Dark Knight Trilogy included?

Spider-man 2 with doc OC

Thor 2

Would love a hulk prequel. Focused on banner pre gamma ray but focus on why he wanted tap into hidden strength. Etc...

I was already hooked but cool trailer. Interesting to see time given to Andy Serkis in a non-mocap role.

Too bad they can't use the Quicksilver from Days of Future Past. The Avengers one looks like he should be wearing cargo pants and flip flops. Doesn't seem like the movie really needs him or Scarlet Witch.

Who or what is an "Ultron"?

Civil War? Was there time travel involved...?

"Planet Hulk"?

I am so lost.

As for that trailer, I really don't know what to think of it. Didn't do much for me. Dark? Yes but why? What's the big deal? I just didn't get it. But hey, seemed cool. o_O

SM2 was good
Thor 2 was wayyy better than the 1st

But, IMO TDK was and is #1. Ledger MADE that movie!

I enjoyed TDK trilogies.

They just didn't do anything for me.

I liked Liam.
I liked ledger.
I actually liked Bane.

Bale was good... But they may be on to something here with Affkeck.

The 1st was so so. The 2nd was money, and the 3rd was a little better than the 1st, but they left too big of a cliffhanger. I will reserve judgement, until I see him as Batman. I hope this isn't Clooney 2.0.

I also enjoyed Batman and Batman Returns.

I really wished they had planned for TDK to be part of MOS.

But they didn't. Obviously I am a fan of tying them together. Many are not, will bend over backwards to tell you why it's not good or doable.

A truly epic trailer for what looks to be a truly epic movie.

And one that I hear will be the 'Empire Strikes Back' of the Avengers trilogy.

Marvel is certainly not resting on their laurels here.

Yeah I guess Nolan's. If it were not for some actors like Jennifer Lawrence(seems too homely) I think the X-men with Kevin Bacon would have been good. Other X-men movies can be too dramatically exaggerated to feel like real characters you can empathize with.

Ultron is a cybernetic intelligence created by Henry Pym (Ant-Man) or in the movie Tony Stark to help the Avengers maintain peace and order in the world. His AI was modeled after the human brain so he can more a less thinks like a human. He makes the decision that in order to fulfill his original imperative, maintain peace and order in the world, he has to eliminate the problem causing chaos in the world which is all humans. He is more a less Skynet from the Terminator franchise in a Robotic form.

Looks awesome.

It really looks like they're setting up planet hulk, which to me is a little annoying. Disney has done a good job of bringing marvel comics to life, but planet hulk follows a plot line that has never really been that inspiring. Hulk hasn't stood alone well for one and the blood sport type plot is just a little blah... Like why should I care?

Though I've diubted them before and they've always impressed over at Disney.

Also, is anyone else annoyed a little by Spader's sudden rise to prominence? I feel like NBC needed a big name to zest up 'the office' and suddenly they convinced everyone that Spader was some big star. Now I feel like he's being forced down our throats.

In fairness, he's proving his worth,

Well Spader has been making movies since 1978. He's been a star for some time.

I could be wrong because I'm just not very familiar with him, but being in acting since 78 doesn't = star.

Other than the Boston Legal, the guy hasn't been the headliner he's been hyped up to be recently,.. It's like if Cary Elwes suddenly was introduced as the star of a show as some big deal that I should be excited about.

I remember him from the 1990s and how good of an actor he was in those days. No, he's not a headliner star, but a face the public knows, and has known for some time and respected.

I keep thinking Planet Hulk too and eyed up May 5th 2017 as a possible release date, although Marvel and James Gunn both denied it.
