I could be wrong because I'm just not very familiar with him, but being in acting since 78 doesn't = star.

Other than the Boston Legal, the guy hasn't been the headliner he's been hyped up to be recently,.. It's like if Cary Elwes suddenly was introduced as the star of a show as some big deal that I should be excited about.

As a sort of sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy, I'd love to see Annihilation, but Fox would likely never give up the rights to the Silver Surfer/Galactus, since they are part of the Fantastic Four series.

After seeing it a few times, it didn't blow me away, but I do still enjoy Ultron at the end. I think they cast a great voice for him. I'm really glad they didn't go with something that sounded far too much like a machine.

Ha, I did too. But I also remember the first avengers trailer... It was pretty up impressive. Seemed hurried.

They threw out too much action for the first trailer if you ask me. We've still got half a year to go for this film, probably 2 more trailers.

Why doesn't Disney, make some outrageous offer to Fox/Sony for X-Men/F4/Spiderman? We all know, they would be able to make the money back.

I don't think that Marvel is willing to pay the billions it would likely take to get back what they likely feel is "theirs".

I'm hopeful of an agreement being reached to 'share' Spiderman, but every thing I've have read and heard says that their relationship with Fox (X-Men and FF) is pretty toxic.

They own some pretty big franchises, Star Wars and Marvel, I doubt a few billion, would set them back, and you see how successful their movies are. Adding a few more franchises to that, would make their money back.

Considering Disney paid $4 billion for Star Wars, "a few billion" seems like an awful lot merely to regain film rights to characters you already own.

I could see them possibly getting an arrangement done for Spider Man, but Fox is making too much money to give up X-Men right now and FF at this point isn't worth much in getting back.

After this next attempt bombs, Fox may be so discouraged that they may just let the rights expire and go back to Marvel for nothing like Daredevil, Blade, Punisher, and Ghost Rider did.

But I don't see them paying "a few billion" in any way, shape, or form.

But sharing rights to a character could help all parties involved in my opinion. If Spiderman were allowed to show up in an Avengers movie, then maybe more people would follow Spidey's stand alone films.

agree by the end of Avengers 3, i don't doubt that most of the Marvel movie licenses will belong to Disney with the exception of maybe X-Men
