Aww, man... why the Eagles?

A week ago, I was not scared at all facing the Eagles back-to-back.

Now, I'm really nervous. The "it's hard to beat a team 3 times in a season" talk and the fact that Eagles will want revenge. Eagles actually missed a lot of chances offensively today: McNabb could have easily knotted the score up 7-7, but overthrew Jackson.

And the penalties just aren't going away. How bad are the Eagles banged up, and is Terrence Newman alright? Did he come back in the game? What's the word on Romo's back?

The Eagles can want all they want, it won't matter and neither will any past examples of playing 3 times. The here and now is a very well rolling team, with a shut out defense, an offense with a lot of firepower and a lot of confidence, not arrogance.

The only team that worries me for some reason is GB. Not Favre and his Vikings, not Ari, not NO.

The thing about Green Bay is that they have a very bad running game. Sure, they beat us in Green Bay, but if we were to play them again, it will be in Big D. Green Bay's defense isn't what it's made out to be, in my opinion. Over 500 yards passing for Roethlisberger? Sheesh, I know that's just one game, but come on. And it seems like they have had a really cupcake schedule.

You need to look at this game as an opportunity. The opportunity to know them out of the playoffs and end their season like they ended ours last year. Sure they want revenge but by the end of the game their receivers wanted no part of catching a football in our secondary. As far as the penalties go, let's just hope the Ron Winters crew won't be officiating our game. If we get another crew for next weeks game we should be okay in that area. We have been doing a better job the last few weeks.

The more I think about it, the more jacked up I am about the thought of the Boys playing the Eagles on Saturday.

-This is a big myth for 1. In all actuality the percentages favor the team that won the first two.

-2nd we dont have to beat them 3 times we have to beat them once.

All Dallas Cowboys = confident

Some Dallas Cowboys fans = fearful

Eventually, both will meet in the middle. Or maybe not.

We could be playing the 1992 Cowboys next week and I still like our chances the way we are playing.

How does that come about, us playing them at home? Is it possible?

All I know is that the Eagles had everything on the line today - a #2 seeding, a bye week, a home playoff date - and they still got stomped. And now they have to play in Dallas again six days later.

If anything, it is Eagles' fans who need to be nervous.

Do not worry. As the theme has been going here lately - BELIEVE.

Eagles will be DOGMEAT next week.

I have seen the future. The Cowboys will not lose again until next preseason. We are destined to be Super Bowl Champions, for the 6th time.

Mark my words. Because I GUARANTEE IT.

The Packers finished second to the Vikings in the NFC North. We won the NFC East. Homefield would belong to the divisional winner.

That's the only way we would face the Packers, at Dallas in the NFC Championship. Cowboys will have to face either the Saints or Vikings if they win next week. Packers will have to face either the Saints or Vikings if they win next week.

Still, how is Romo and Newman?

look at it this way. the eagles have to be very disheartened right now. they had a lot to gain and we took it all away from them. we beat and bruised them today. and they have only put 16 up on us in two games.

PLUS they have to travel back here on a short week.

it's all there for us.

If the 4 or 5 seed makes it to the NFC Championship and we make it than we get the home game.

4 and 5 seed would be Arizona and Green Bay of course.

Just like back in the 90's, knocking GB out in the NFC Championship.

Technically, we can only face Minnesota in the divisional round. If the Packers win, they can only face NO in the divisional round.

Wow! by the end of this week, the OP is going to be a complete nervous wreck.

Chill out. Enjoy tonight's win. It was big. But next weeks will be even bigger, and then even bigger after that. When we make it to the Super Bowl, you will be in a straight jacket locked away somewhere.

We beat them twice. We beat them when it mattered. They had everything to gain. We had the home field to play for next week. They had a bye to play for.

Don't worry, we got this.

Just saw when Eagles have made playoffs under Andy Reid, they have always won the first playoff game. It's time to change that.
