You do realize that means the Rams only have 4 losses and would knock Arizona to the 5th seed or lower. Arizona losing today absolutely helps Dallas but you think what you want
That's assuming the Rams win out. Which they likely won't with road games at Minnesota and Baltimore.
But again, you are missing the point. The more teams that have a chance to finish 13-4 the better. It's quite possible the divisional winner from the NFCW will be a 5 loss team. So again, the Cards losing doesn't help us, contrary to what you keep claiming. It would have been beneficial to us to have them finish at 13-4, which seemed likely until they choked against the Lions today.
By losing today, you've removed one team that can finish 13-4. If the Rams lose a game, which seems likely, then we are left with just hoping the Packers lose just once, not twice.
So no, the Cards losing didn't help us. The Cards winning today would have been meaningless for us because we still control our destiny against them.
Let's change this around. How did the Cards losing "help" us? The only way it helps us is if you think that we will be the lone team standing with only 4 losses and everyone else will have 5 or more. But that just ignores reality that the Bucs have a soft as crap schedule. You can say ignore that and just hope everyone keeps losing but you have to look at this realistically and not pie in the sky.
