Anyway, I have my own site now so I don't make it around much. But I do check in on you guys. I just don't post a whole lot.

I spoke with Lena Mae Johnson this morning. She does not have any objection to Cowboys fans doing this. She told me they do have a ceremony planned on December 20, Bob hayes birthday, when he will be moved to his monument. But she doesn't have any objections to us doing this for now.

She is a very elderly lady. My opinion, and I probably have no right to feel this way, but if we don't do something, a year from now we will be talking about this again and there will be no monument. I left her my number because she asked for it. But she said again "No you can guys can do this if you want to."

Funny - when I told her my name was Trip, she said "Oh Trip! You were a good friend of Bob's!" I said "No maam. I just saw him play and I'm a fan." It took me a awhile to convince her I wasn't his friend.

I'd like to find out an exact amount owed and coordinate this with Mr. Lines from the cemetary. I want every penny to be accounted for so that no one gets taken advantage of.

I also want to be able to attempt to speak to Jerry Jones personally to see if he would address this. I may not be able to, but out of respect I feel that should be my first avenue and I have a number where I can reach him.

I am willing to donate. But, I am not willing to hand my money over to just any internet stranger, no offense to anyone. I feel if Hos (or those related to the site) organizes a donation more people would feel safe about forking over their dinero and getting this taken care of once and for all. JMO.

I understand this and agree with you 100%. This is why I want to coordinate this with the Cemetary so that the money goes straight to them with no middle man and that once the money has been raised they don't get to keep collecting.

This will be done right. I will make sure of that.
