B/R ranks the worst trades in history

Might be the dumbest thing I've ever read at BR.
It's going to be fun to see how it turns out. Things could turn bad for the Packers this year and in the future. Not having 1st round picks for the next 2 years could be a huge negative for them.

31 other GM's would disagree with you
No they wouldn't. Two 1sts is a decent return. Unless your posting is just agenda driven.

I hate Jerry, but he did OK on this one. Grade of B.

As you know if you read my posts out of 12 GMs/front office staff none liked the trade from a Cowboys perspective. Your very much in minority if you think that was a good return!

I still don't know why the herschel walker trade is not in there. perhaps the writers are young and that was before their time.

Can't have 50% of your cap going to 3 players. Jones really has never figured out how to use the cap and is still in the mentality of just out spending everyone.

Miguel Cabrera trade shouldn’t be on here; Marlins can’t keep anyone as they can’t afford good players. So he had to be traded
That was a firesafe after winning the World Series. They did it twice in Miami. They built get teams, won and then traded all the good players- two times. And yes they are cheap there, and routinely have one of the lowest payrolls in a league with no salary cap or floor. The last of the MAIN 4 leagues to not have a salary cap.

This IMO is why the gambling Jerry is back ......... he wants to prove to the league and his peers that HE won the Micah trade. The fact that this article is calling it one of the worst trades in sports history WITHOUT waiting to see any results .......goodness

Ranking the Worst Trades in Sports This Century

Any article using that many emojis tells me all I need to know.

As I already stated, it was a B return. Not a terrible trade. Might turn out to be great if Q is enough of a difference maker and Jerry isn't dumb enough to take WRs and TEs and CBs w/ our 1sts. If he continues in the recent vein, could turn out well.

Yeah, let's see in a year or two. Does Micah hold up? Do the Cowboys build a defense with the money saved and the draft picks acquired?
Even if he does what he has done it’s hard to say it’s one of worst trades. You got good value for him. It may not be a great trade but certainly not near that bad

And not even in the convo for worst trades of all time. The Mingo and Milton trades were worse.
