He expects new england to come and go no huddle, three wide and force Roy williams to cover Ben Watson which is a serious mismatch.

He also said knowing the state of the cowboys secondary expect new england to throw the ball at least 18 times out of the first 20 plays.

INteresting, Laufenberg is usually spot on and if they do that we are going to be under pressure immediately.

I know this was mentioned earlier, but I think Dallas should play no huddle as much as possible.

Even Belicheat will have problems with that.

Plus, why not get Reeves and Nate Jones on the field as much as possible?

It went pretty much unmentioned all week, but Burnett has been practicing. That's huge for our nickel as I think we can agree he's far better than Carpenter.

NE will mix and match no huddle but I doubt they stay in it.

The Cowboys offense is good enough to destroy you so you do not want to simply go no huddle and lose the time of possession battle against a big Cowboys OL. If you do that you better get up a ton because int he 3rd and 4th quarter's Dallas will pound you.

I expect Belichek is smarter than this.

...I would have used this week and last week to work on my nickel and dime units.

Those ones would feature units with no Roy Williams. The purpose of this is to force the Patriots to work their ground game against our defensive front.

It's a strategy that would require good tackling by the nickel corners. The other part of that scheme is that Brady,Moss, Welker and Stallworth will be slowed down somewhat by the multiple corners in the defence and that represents a significant part of their offence.

You are really leaving it up to the O-line, Watson and Morris to carry a heavier load.

Like the experts have been saying, "pick your poison". If it was me, that's what I would choose.

I would play dime and nickel 80% of the time to stop the pass first.

Isn't this just what they've been doing all season?

Why would this catch anyone by surprise or be anything different from what Wade and Co. have been preparing for all week?

I really like our dime defense.

I would be tempted to go with that a lot.

Roy as a LB......
