He's 10 times better than Bradie James..,
Did Ro ever have 116 tackles, 8 sacks, 4 Passes Defensed, and 3 Forced Fumbles in a single season like James did in 2008?

Jimmy said that you don't treat all players equal, and that some will get special treatment (paraphrasing), Ro is one of those players I think------Now that is smart football-keep your playmakers on the team, and do what you have to do to keep them on the team.

Exactly, take what you can get because the upside is a lot (for not much money). The Cowboys clearly prepared for the downside by singing Brinkley and Gotchkar, plus Hitchens can play the Mike as well.
Rolondo can bring a lot when he is healthy and eligible but is going to miss time due to knuckleheadedness. He is basically the Josh Hamilton of the Cowboys.
He isnt even Bradie James
Off with his head!!! He's Jerrys special project now, get him into a counseling program and a baby sitter..
Cut him? Holy hot sports take Batman.
Virtually zero upside.
It doesn't surprise me that the majority of posts support keeping this guy. He brought baggage with him, and his play while on the field sold some on his value.
Yet I can't help feeling this is somewhat like Lee in that the promises are great, but the return is limited. Lee by injury. RoMc because of his questionable decisions.
Lee is absolved because this is out of his control. So hopes can run high that he has a season without injury. RoMc, on the other hand, is much like T.O., Leon Lett, and others with demons that we all wait for the other shoe to drop and them be sidelined by the league.
The temperament on this board about forgiving this guy, which smacks of the forgiveness of Josh Brent in looking past the events that led to his notoriety, is business as usual.
I now start the clock ticking on a player from another NFC East team being disciplined for behavior and the board pointing fingers and laughing at that team for keeping the guy.
Apparently the true north on the moral compass around here is fluid.
Still wish we would have paid Carter.
Really? He's failed two tests since joining the team. He's undependable at this point. Another failed test loses him a year.

.
Great summation here, thanks for your efforts.
I agree with you here, I think it's likely up to him if his career continues or ends. But I think this is the very last straw with the team. They won't tolerate a single problem or issue from now on. If he doesn't do every single thing they expect from him, he's gone.
Good players get special treatment
Just the reality of the world and always has been and is not going to change
At that point you cut him. What does cutting him now gain you? Why not view anything he gives you as immense and cheap upside?
