I have mentioned I went yesterday with my 2 older Bros and a nephew.
I am going to skip to the end of the game and go backwards.
Ok..
Game is winding down and has about 10 minutes to play.
My nephew says "Let's go.."
I say where?
I want to see the end of the game..
He says let's either go up to the suites or down to the tunnel where the players come off the field.
I said.."the Suites.."
He said "Outta here"..and we give some of our stuff to my brothers and we leave.
We will meet them at the car later.
So we go up and head for the stairs.
We go up and come out in front of the doors to the suites.
There are security hanging around but people are filtering around the hallway.
My nephew is 40 years old but he is a corner cutting guy.
He has developed this system to get into the Box Suites late in games and watch the end of games.
We watch for a couple of people to come out of the suites with stuff and they are leaving.
So my nephew walks up to them and asks them if they will sell us their Suite pass badges for $20 each. They are going to throw them away anyway.
They fork them over and we take them and enter the suite they left.
Easy peasee.
We get in there and there is buffet food and a bar.
We walk over and take a snack and order a gin and tonic.
We got down to the front and sat.
The suite is half empty..
About this time the Boys are driving to win the game.
After the 2nd PI call against the Seahawks late in the drive..
I said to my nephew..
"The Seahawks just lost the game..we gonna score.."
I do not think he heard me for all the cheering.
And of course DAK cartwheels towards the end zone and we score next play.
Bedlam.
Then Seattle gets the kickoff and 3 plays and 45 seconds later..they score to close within 2 pts.
I AM IN FREAKING SHOCK.
I can't believe we are within an onside kick and recovery of being tied or losing after all this.
But we don't..
Thank god.
He still loves his Cowboys.
Thought he had forgotten us.
