You can clearly see him backing up from the ball as Stafford approaches the LoS
Then why didn’t the Back Judge do the same thing in the Cowboys game? Instead he’s tackling Dak instead of already being in position to spot the ball.

FYI: I know we had 60 minutes of football and by no means did this particular officiating blunder decide the game - we lost it in all 4 quarters.

We've constantly seen example after example of awful refereeing and highly biased refereeing around the league. Why do the refs hold no accountability? Why should teams have to constantly compensate for a refs either inability to do the job or his corrupt calls? Aren't they professionals that should be expected to perform their job as well?

How fun would it be to watch a boxing match where one boxer can continually hit under the belt and do illegal tactics with no warning or point deduction, but the other guy must box perfectly or constantly get points taken away? And yet in football, we're supposed to act like these WWE refs don't exist and one team is just supposed to play better to such an extent to compensate for that. Not going to happen when teams are evenly matched. In that instance, the refs are able to directly control the outcome of the game. You can only play so good against competition that is a similar level. Having refs that are constantly penalizing you while ignoring the other team is literally tilting the game in favor of one team. If nothing is done about the refs, we just need to admit that football is just lightweight scripted entertainment like wrestling and not an actual competitive sporting event.

Teams shouldn't have to continually compensate for the incompetence if not flat out corruption of the refereeing crew.
I don't disagree. but we had 7 pre-snap penalties...that's on us.

and if we played better, we wouldn't be talking about referees....that 14 second we are hoping for miracle.....yeah...that's not how you win football games consistently

what it means is that ref ran got ahead dof the play and it was linger then ours and properly on time set it without disrupting the players..the ref in our situation trialed the play by so long our fat linemen and dak beat them got set then here comes the slow needs to retire official to knock out players off the ball and then set it..that's was the issue not him needing to set it him being so lazy to get back was a bad look like he wanted the paly to go wrong.

This video shows the ref backing away after the ball is set.
sure, that not the issue in our game

We played extremely sloppy ball and that falls on the HC for not getting the team prepared.

With that said, the refs need to call a fair game and an inability to do so needs to be addressed. I can understand it being 'sour grapes' when the refs made a single bad call when they generally have called a fair game, but when the refs are continually wiping away first downs for one team and rewarding the other team with free yardage to march down the field, there is a huge problem. When one team can continually hold and get no calls, but the other one is getting ticky tack calls the whole game, it's almost impossible to play through that.

The game we played against the raiders was a huge example of that where the refs literally took over the game and generated scores for the Raiders. Also, if the ref is getting in the way and preventing a team from potentially scoring, he needs to be looked at. In no other profession can you be this incompetent or corrupt and everyone else screams to ignore it and just work around it.

it looks that way from your view...but I thought they called a fair game. our players sucked and played bad. and didn't make stops or plays...again, 7 pre-snap penalties.

with that said, the Raiders game was a bad....I don't disagree with Officiating needing to improve, but I don't see a bias. I see inconsistency in calling the game between the different crews.

That's the Sloth's MO, wait until the Boys are getting their a$$e$ handed to them AND then act like you really care about the game. The TEN TOE SLOTH has no business being a starting QB on this team AND that's a fact, look at all the cheap yds and TDs he accumulates against bottom-feeders while struggling against GOOD TEAMS. Cowboy fans want and need a QB who has the ability to read defenses and locate open receivers the second a ball is snapped, because our current QB Mr TEN TOE SLOTH struggles to do both of these functions and it's killing the MOJO on the offensive side of the ball. The run game has all but disappeared because of the Sloth's slowwwwwwww responses in the pocket. Each time the Sloth sits in the pocket squeezing the air out of the ball it looks like our O-Line is facing the reincarnation of the 85 Bear's defense. The Sloth isn't going to beat GOOD TEAMS if he's forced to pass the ball because HE'S TOO SLOW at everything his does in the pocket.......................
Your posts are so cringe

Watching Joe Burrow work.....tears me between furious envy and wonderous appreciation.

It has been confirmed by several sources that a Back Judge DID touch the ball and then backed away quickly (left of screen)

He was way closer to the ball the Rams, so it took them a few seconds to set up

The controversy by some was that they thought the umpire had to touch the ball, that is not how the rule is written at all.

We just saw a clinic given by 3 QBs (Stafford, Mahomes and Allen) on how to run a 2 minute offense and all you got out of that was something about the back judge? I'll help you out here, even if Dak got that ball spiked, the odds of him converting the next play into a TD throw are miniscule. So, lets not pretend he gave us much if any chance of winning that game. We lost this game in the first 3 quarters.
We deserve the chance. Even if you sit on your couch arms tightly folded cursing our suckage......who the f are you? To decide the refs don't have to be competent because we suck.

The officials are the Statue of Liberty...blind justice. It shouldn;t matter if we were too incompetent to pull it off. The NFL is supposed to be world class.

They were as incompetent as us...and that is unacceptable. We don't expect our judges to be as criminal as the criminals. Higher standard.

If there are mistakes then they need held accountable like any profession.

Yeah, I'm done with these threads.

Dallas had 59 minutes and 46 seconds to not be in that situation. They trailed the entire game and lost.

Right! This is the second one. This is ridiculous. How many excuses can a fan base make for just failing.

As for the post above ..we DONT deserve a chance because we ran a stupid play and expected a ref to play tag with the ball perfectly despite blocking his path snd not being ready to hand him the ball. We also barely had time even if he hit it once. Please stop this stuff
