I know that it’s the NFL any given Sunday, but the next two games are get right games for Dak and the offense to flex their strength. These should be fairly comfortable wins, but may be narrowly won. After the next two games Dallas will be 3-2-1 and contending for the playoffs.

I'm not taking any game for granted from here on out. Every time we play the Jets, something weird happens.

Still haunted by losing to them in 2015. Haunted by Darnold torching us for 330 yards and then mocking our defense, and then the very next week was playing the Patriots and was "seeing ghosts."

Hell, when we beat them soundly in 2023, Aubrey had to kick 5 field goals to do it.

Jets are already calling this a must win game. Their new coach went off in the locker room and a bunch of players are saying the right things about being mad about their lack of discipline.

One thing that is a concern is their run game and the play of Justin Fields.

Fields had a good game in the air and on the ground. He totaled 300 yards and two scores

They had 197 total rushing yards in the game.

Fields could have a big game if we can’t contain.

Yeah, they are 0-3 but this game could be a trap game as much as a get right game.

This defense won’t be able to stop even the lowly Jets. What makes you think this isn’t a get right game for them? We have the worst defense in the NFL and maybe the worst defense of the last 10 years.

Nothing is a given for the Cowboys. Well…..except a putting a horrendous defense on the field. You can bank on that.

The Jets have drafted 3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 14th and 15th over the past 7 drafts in the 1st round.

Like the Cowboys, they have recently drafted O-linemen in the 1st round, they have three.

On defense they have Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, two excellent players.

They lost two of their games by 2 points. An extra couple of good plays in each game and they could be 2-2, possibly 3-1. The Cowboys were a 64 yard field goal away from being 0-3-1.

Why do I get a weird satisfaction of our record being 3-2-1? Has that ever happened in the NFL where a record was three consecutive numbers in decreasing chronological order?

See these are things I think about at 4:40 AM when my anxiety brain won’t let me sleep. Can’t wait for the melatonin to kick in lol.

I am more scared of the Jets with Beebe and Booker out as far as Quinnen is concerned. Also with Sauce going one on one with Pickens will mean Ferguson and Tolbert will have to step up again. Tolbert gave me a little confidence with his big clutch play in OT. But this will not be an easy game and I hope we don’t have an emotional letdown after the Packers game and all the hoopla that came with Parsons returning.

The more you are left humbled and scratching your head.

Take it came by game and enjoy it for what it is because they're all different and every game has its own matchups that can make or break the game.

Along with penalties turnovers and injuries nothing is a slam dunk
