Who is a FA next year that could come in and back up Romo and maybe even push him a little bit.

Sage Rosenfield is also a FA. I would not mind seeing us draft a QB should a good prospect fall in the draft.

Drafting a QB is essential IMO

Sage Rosenfield is also a FA. I would not mind seeing us draft a QB should a good prospect fall in the draft.

His contract is up after next year so he'll be a Texan next year.

He is just an older Romo..throws alot of interceptions at the worst time. But he is better than Brad!

We are talking backup. Even if Dallas drafts a QB I think they will take their time in grooming him

Chase Daniels is a guy who will fall in this draft. Up until this season he was highly regarded but after having an offseason this year the odds are he will slid on draft day

John McClain is always saying that Sage wants to go someplace where he can start. I don't think he'd be interested in the Cowboys.

And he's in Houston for another year anyway. They'll taint him towards anything Cowboys!

I don't get the point in drafting a QB to groom as a backup....you can sign a new backup every year if you want.

If your starting QB goes down, you are going to struggle. Might as well use the draft pick on an area of need or where depth is much more important.

Who ever Jerry signs is not the most important issue. JJ firing QB coach Wade Wilson is. By getting rid of Wade, all of Romo's problems will disappear. So, even if Jones keeps Johnson, there will be no problem at the QB position next year with Wade Wilson gone

He can't control what the network puts on TV and yes Daniels season has not been great compared to his last 2 seasons but many scouts think he could develop into a very good QB the bad season will likely drop him in the draft and right now I would not want Dallas using a high pick to get a QB but on day 2 should a guy like Daniels be out there I would have no issue in taking him.

I read on NFL.com last nite that there is a chance that Tom Brady may have to have more surgery on his knee. The Patriots may have to use the franchise tag on Matt to keep him if Brady is out for a longer period of time. Not a bad payoff for the season Matt had
