Bad, Bad Choice

I for one am very dissapointed in the hiring of Wade Phillips as head coach. This is not where I think we should be headed. It may work as a quick fix, but hurts in the long run as Phillips is already somewhat of a lame duck. I hoped for someone younger who wasn't a retread. A Bobby Petrino, Pete Carroll or Bob Stoops would have been the way to go in my opinion. I'll still support the team, and Phillips as well, but feel very let down by Jerry Jones. I believe another mistake has taken place.

If this isn't proof that Wade Phillips was a good hire, then I don't know what is.

I am positively amazed that many of you are so "pumped up" about Wade Phillips. Are you serious? He's "decent", but that's about all I can say. Don't think he gets us where we want to be. No way.

Good hire. We needed to fix the defense. Romo will be tutored by Garrett and the offense will be fine. We scored the 3rd highest points in the NFL last year. If he fails go out and get Fisher. He will be available after next year.

Pete Carroll is not leaving USC, Petrino is already with the Falcons and Stoops has said he does not want the job!! Who is do you want?? How is he a lame duck coach? He can't be any lamer than BP's "lets see how I feel at the end of the season, whether I will be back or not"!!

The guy knows the 3-4 and has HC exerience.

Hey--I'm doing nothing wrong here, just stating my opinion. I've toned things down in case you haven't noticed. I'm playing it straight, show me where I haven't for the last few weeks. I'm not "clowning around" at all, so cut that talk.

I thought he had been banned when that book of his disappeared. When I saw his name again, I was reminded of "Pale Rider" when the Marshall-for-Hire is all shot to pieces and looks up to see The Preacher and says "You" in a very not-happy-at-all-to-see-you voice before taking another bullet to the forehead.

In fact, every post of his feels like a bullet to the forehead.
