I actually recall Chaz Green playing pretty well at left tackle for three games early in the 2016 season. Then he had that meltdown in Atlanta a year later.
It was left guard, not left tackle. Then Jonathan Cooper took his job after he was hurt again.

In 2016 it was left tackle when Tyron Smith had his back lock up. It was the Bears, 49ers, and Bengals games when Dak and Zeke were rookies.

Green moved to left guard in 2017 and was benched for Cooper. When Smith got hurt again that year, Green filled in and it was a disaster.

I guess there are varying degrees of bust because Wilcox does not belong in the same category as Chaz at all.

Agreed. Wilcox was quite serviceable and came into his own towards the end of his tenure here. He was more of a poor man's Roy Williams (31) type of safety in the sense that he was a hard hitter, but did have coverage issues.
