THE DALLAS COWBOYS ARE ON A MISSION
Preparation, focus, execute and advance. See the win and be the win NO NEGATIVITY ALLOWED!

Beating them 3 times can be done heck didnt Pitt beat the ravens 3 times last year?? If we are better we are better, and we have to know we cant be over confident they know they still have the memory of the NYG loss and crayton has something to prove, hopefully he can duplicate last weeks performance.

Well, I don't buy it. All the things not associated with the game is meaningless to me and I'm sure to the Cowboys.

Things like, we're too confident, winning 3 in a row is hard to do.

I'm more interested in play by play. Do we give Romo enough time to hit Austin down field, and does he catch it to go in? Or do we run it effectively? Can we cover Jackson, AGAIN?

This , and other game activity will determine the game, not the other stuff.

I have a really bad feeling that the Cowboys will lose a close one on Saturday against the Eagles..

I just can't see the Eagles losing to us for a 3rd time. The reason i feel this is the following:

1. Cowboys are confident they will beat them.
2. What was the parade of those "Champions of the East" caps.... who cares...don't bring them out.
3. Already all the media are saying that the Boys are going to the Super Bowl against the Chargers....this will go into their heads as they can't get beat...take the Eagles lightly...
4. Wade has never won in the playoffs...

Let's hope I am wrong... I really want them to win and prove me wrong...

I have been a die hard fan for many years going back to those Danny White, Gary Hogeboom Days where whenever Cowboys had a meaningfull game... they would self destruct..
Lol :lmao2: :trophy: :eagles:

The Cowboys "believe", that's good enough for me. Eagles get "stung" ..... for the 3rd time this season.

no joke

Dude seriously? WTH is w/ Canadian Dallas Fans? I swear I can't for the life of me figure them out.

Way to much France up there. Way to easy for them to lay down and surrender. WoW!

I can't even think of it this way, let alone go and post a thread about it.

You have not named one single "football issue" that justifies your stance that they will lose. If you think they will, that is fine, but give some football reasons man.

Talk about time of possession, run defense, pass defense, special teams, lack of proper coaching, ect....

Give me some football reasons besides all this other crap that "we cant beat the Eagles 3 times". Actually teams do win the 3rd matchup with a 63% success rate. This isnt rocket science, most of the time when a team beats another team 2 times during the season it usually means the winning team is just better. So it is no surprise that the better team wins the 3rd game over 60% of the time.

As far as the hats and stuff, please. If a hat and a tee shirt motivates the Eagles more than the #2 seed, a bye week, and a Divisional round home game did...........they have bigger problems than us.

I also had a dream that the Cowboys made it to the Super Bowl. I had this dream before the season started. In my dream the Cowboys threw like a 30 or 40 yard touchdown pass to win the game that they needed to win to go to the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl never did take place in this dream because I woke up before it was time for the Super Bowl.

Are you doing this to make yourself feel better in case they lose? Listen every fan has their own opinions and beliefs, and you're free to post and express yourself, but please don't bring this bad mojo to these boards.

We're rolling on a "high" and this team "believes" and it feels different, it just does.

This saturday will be one football game and only one victor, the eagles or the cowboys. But I tell you what, the cowboys are freaking winning this game. I'm free to post my beliefs too.

I just can't see the Eagles losing to us for a 3rd time.***(MAM: Maybe you need a little Windex on that crystal ball.) The reason i feel this is the following:

1. Cowboys are confident they will beat them.***(MAM: You fail at Cowboys media awareness. Why don't you go watch the postgame interviews with all of the players after the game over at DallasCowboys.com in the multimedia section? Don't worry; it's kosher. You can go there. It's safe, you know. You won't get an opinion; it's all unfiltered as if you were there. There's truly no spin.)
2. What was the parade of those "Champions of the East" caps.... who cares...don't bring them out.***(MAM: You only notice that because you pay attention exclusively to the Dallas Cowboys. If you had any other NFL awareness, you would know other teams do it too.
3. Already all the media are saying that the Boys are going to the Super Bowl against the Chargers....this will go into their heads as they can't get beat...take the Eagles lightly...***(MAM: Given the reactions of the players after this game, I think not. Again, fail.)
4. Wade has never won in the playoffs...***(MAM: So? Andy Reid has never lost a first round playoff game. I guess we should just forfeit then. No, that will the right thing to do. Then, all the complainers and Diogenes fans can still pretend they're right and run bunco on the rest of us and make believe they're smarter than us because they predicted this team to fail miserably. I mean, that's the way to go.)

Let's hope I am wrong...***(MAM: You are.) I really want them to win and prove me wrong...

I have been a die hard fan for many years going back to those Danny White, Gary Hogeboom Days where whenever Cowboys had a meaningfull game... they would self destruct..***(MAM: Well, Danny White and Gary Hogeboom aren't coming out of that tunnel on Saturday, so I like our chances.

I actually think the Eagles didn't show their cards in the last game and thats why it was so lopsided. They only blitzed five times in the first half of the game. Thats unnatural for the Eagles.

I'm not as confident of victory as some posters seem to be. I am in a "show me" mode...Whats bigger than beating the Eagles a third time is winning a playoff game. I hope the players are as motivated and determined as the last half of December and January has so far shown us. I am however confident that that they will show up and play hard with resolution.

You're on crack if you think they went vanilla with the #2 seed, home-field, and a bye week on the line.

this is huge. we can finally get this playoff drought out of the way, or we can be known as even worse chokers than ever before, losing in the first game to a team we smashed both times in the regular season when expected to go to the superbowl in 2 out of 3 years. a loss would be humiliating.

Like Indianapolis didn't toss away a potential perfect season?

It looked to me like the Eagles were trying something new on defense and they were willing to risk the results. Like I said, their pressure was uncharacteristically light. Besides, the Eagles terrible performance had a lot to do with McNabb's inability to deliver the ball in some key situations that might have led to points for them.

perfect season has absolutely nothing to do with getting to the superbowl.

I don't put anything past NFL coaches. Talking heads and fans alike were befuddled by Indianapolis taking the pedal off the gas...Talking heads and fans alike are surprised when other teams play their starters to the last minute of more or less meaningless season ending games, already with the playoffs secured. In a campaign, in strategy, individual actions and individual tactics may seem not to make sense when taken outside of the context of a bigger scheme. I for one think we'll see a much tougher contest come Saturday and I believe thats part of Philty's plan.
