We have spare parts. Lamb got hurt, but when healthy we have a really good WR trio. The OL has some pieces now. The QB is better than average, granted not elite. Ferguson is a decent enough TE. The defense has some pieces but LB is weak, secondary is really weak when injuries kick in.

The type of team our esteemed GM built is the type of team that needs high quality coaching to get anything out of it. We don't have that. Schotty is in over his head. Eberflus is just a waste.

There were some that deluded themselves into thinking this was a playoff team. They aren't. They will struggle to finish above .500. Chicago just steamrolled us and they suck.

This is going to be a long season.

Ferguson is pretty good. He can't do much if the plays all have him getting the ball 5 yards short of the first down marker. "Let's get it to a receiver and hope they can break some tackles" is not a great strategy to roll out over and over in a game.

I predicted a four win season and got some grief for it, but I’ll bet after today there’s a few of you falling in line now. Actually after the last two weeks because let’s be real we had no business winning that game last week will win a couple more that we have to pull out in miracle style and that’s gonna be it. 3 to 4 wins this year is all we’re going to get. This team is just not that good. Dak is always and I repeat always going to be who he is resorting to check downs making only one read the original scouting report still hold through. And now we have a horrible defense probably the worst in the entire league. NFL rankings probably have us at 30 or 31. The Cowboys, like it or not are officially in the rebuilding phase. Only problem is the front office isn’t confident enough to recognize it and to make the proper moves.
