We have spare parts. Lamb got hurt, but when healthy we have a really good WR trio. The OL has some pieces now. The QB is better than average, granted not elite. Ferguson is a decent enough TE. The defense has some pieces but LB is weak, secondary is really weak when injuries kick in.

The type of team our esteemed GM built is the type of team that needs high quality coaching to get anything out of it. We don't have that. Schotty is in over his head. Eberflus is just a waste.

There were some that deluded themselves into thinking this was a playoff team. They aren't. They will struggle to finish above .500. Chicago just steamrolled us and they suck.

This is going to be a long season.

Unfortunately the next 3 or 4 years are going to be like this so people should get used to it

Yeah they had Nahshon Wright at CB today. You know, the player that this fanbase couldn't wait to run out of town.....yet he was a shutdown corner today. lol

7-10 at best. Jerry just needs to go away. Even then his presence is so saturated within the organization it will be years before the heaviness of that presence is flushed from the building. The careers of some special players have been wasted with his hands on the wheel. Super Bowl champions of making cash, internet clicks and drama. Nothing more.

Dak won't throw downfield to anyone but CeeDee and even then he does it once in a blue moon.
Ferguson is slow.
Pickens dropped a pass right in his hands which was ultimately picked off.

On defense there are no positives. No turnovers again. No sacks. few pressures and the QB had all day to throw downfield.
The secondary can't cover. It doesn;t matter what coverage they play how long or how short the passes. Williams had a 142 QB rating today. They made him look like a HoF QB.
On top of all that, they seem to get fooled by the other teams offense when they run screens, reverses and other trick plays.
To sum it up, they are pretty terrible.

I am glad they traded Micah Parsons and got those 2 draft picks I supposed we have to wait until 2027 before we have any good players.
