BAH Aaron Rogers... His comments on Romo

Rodgers played in a celebrity golf tournament in Wisconsin on Wednesday and they had him on the radio. The hosts asked him about some random quarterbacks and they got to Romo. Rodgers replied,

Good response... But.. Hopefully that changes this year...

Truth sucks.....

I need to read those comments in context or hear it myself. Because Rodgers has been nothing but classy and good guy.

So he's far superior than Romo in turning a talented, playoff franchise, into a bottom feeder.

...
Eh, just give Romo time ;)

(p.s. I just had to swipe at it, I know Romo's an outstanding QB)

& Romo is 1-0 against him head-to-head.

Rodgers is a bit sour because it took him so long to get on the field...

Kind of easy when the QB's ahead of you are Blew Bledsoe and Vinny Testicles.

I'm trying to find this article so we can put it in context. Can you provide the link for this blurb?

Only link I found for today was this: http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/29222519.html

You may not find an article. I surely didn't initially. It was reported by a GB Packers fan and a Wisconsin resident that posts on my Semi-Pro football message board. The only context is what I relayed to you. I will ask him if he has any more info on it though.

So it's possible Rodgers never said it?

Well, if you can find out more, I'll appreciate it.

I believe that Rodgers is 0- 1 1/2 against Dallas and the Packers are 2- 11 against Dallas the past 20 seasons.

I guess. We have one. I was on our old league's message board. nafl.org. Go there and you'll find the post. You'll also see my rebuttal a few minutes ago asking for more info.

Anything is possible but I think it was said. The guy that posted it isn't know for fuzzing the truth. I'm trying to prod for more info. BigNo78 is me.

PS. It was said "on the radio" so there may not be a corresponding article but we'll see. ;)

Aaron Rodgers is all class, he is in many ways just like Romo. So that statement about playoff wins is as much a criticism of himself as it is of Romo.

I think in four or five years time these two are going to be widely considered the top two QBs in the conference.

LOL yessir, when Rodgers came in for Favre at halftime of that game in 07, Romo consistently kept our offense 10 points ahead of Rodgers. Rodgers didn't do much better last year either.

On the radio, huh? LOL

Well, you know how we are about linkages to sources and whatnot. I won't push it any further.

:p: Per Dick, It was on a Wisconsin radio station local to wherever the golf tourney was. Dick resides in Westallica, Wisconsin so it was close to that area.
