The response i was expecting.

You think Dowdle, Zeke and Vaughan is sufficient?
Along with Cook. They are with Guyton, Kneeland, Beebe, Marist Liufau, Carson, and Flournoy. It looks like it so far. I would also count Luepke in the running back group and I would be targeting the Boise State back in the upcoming draft.

Who in here doesn't think he needs work?
It's just a less harsh way of saying I thought the kid was being burnt and the video didn't change my mind.
I gave my opinion without being super duper negative.

You got a problem with that too? If so.....don't.

It's not that deep.

I FINALLY got around to watching the highlights.

1st pass for CLE was out to Cooper. It was a catch for about 10yds.

BUT, Carson was 1 step off of a Pick6. I didn't notice it during the game. His instincts are good and his breaking speed is better than I expected.

He was close on 3-4 INTs Sunday. it'll be interesting to watch him develop.

Props to Coach Harris.

Spot on

But tap the breaks a little
A.Cooper dropped a Td behind him late in game. Not sure where S help ended up,
But he had big separation from Carson deep
He gotta keep improv
Someone said that was Mukuamu, but I haven't gone back to check.

Mukuamu did come in and play that side in the fourth quarter after we had decided the Browns weren't going to be able to catch up.

I love that breakdown of Carson’s play in Cleveland . When Bland returns CB is as strong a unit as has been in many yrs. A guy like Booth with some talent can’t get much PT stuck behind Diggs Carson Lewis and eventually Bland .

Great 5th round pick . Coupled with Kneeland & Liufau the Cowboys got some help for a defense that got run over in the playoffs in 23

Hope the safety is paying attention because they gonna try to double cross 21 next game.

Even if he gives up some plays, he looks amazing. Great draft pick.

I wish Booth comes around too, maybe later in the season, I loved his tackling in the pre-season games.

Damn, he’s got jump…..he’s gonna pick lesser QBs with that bait and jump.

Good stuff. Happy the kid had a great first game and his ceiling is obviously high
Agreed he did well. Let's put anointing oil away (general statement) for a bit as BP would say. He is a rookie and the NFL will learn his weaknesses and exploit them. Let's see how he adjusts.

A lot of casuals were mad because things happened near him. From what I saw, Cleveland decided to go after the rookie and they didn't do well. Would love to see the passer rating in attempts at Carson.

....

Side note, I'm not even sure what to do when Bland comes back. Lewis is also playing lights out. Just hope that the team gets to play dime package?

He looked impressive for a rookie, no doubt. Interested to see him this weekend against the Saints. Carr will be slinging the ball around way better than Watson was.

Dude’s quickness is noticeabley good. As much as I wanna like Mukwamu there’s a reason why they won’t let him compete at corner.

Yeah, Carson is going to give up some catches… they all do. However for his first start in the NFL he showed mad skills for a rookie corner. That coming downhill to the ball just isn’t what you typically see from rookies… and sometimes you just don’t ever see it.

The guy is just a natural corner. What he does coming out of college is pretty unusual, even for first round DB’s.
That first play is something Byron Jones, despite is All-World athleticism never did. It takes instincts/anticipation to make a break on a ball like that.

I like him BUT,
are front 7 in our pass rush was relentless I like to see him when they're actually have time to throw what is actual cover skills are but yes good signs we saw this stuff with bland and we were right so hopefully these are good signs for the future but I need to see more tests...

That is a good point about go get a rb and we got Carson. Much as I can't believe we didn't find a way to take a RB, Carson is probably going to be quite a bit more valuable.
Right nobody can tell the future but first of all yes corner is much bigger position to score on in the draft but 2 bland goes out this was an absolute great pick because of that situation which nobody knew was gonna happen but they didn't bring back Gilmore because of this kid they must trust him that much but I need to see more more tests whenever our pass rush doesn't get home 'cause we killed Cleveland with 40 pressures makes it easier on the back end so let's see it when it's not so easy...
