I really enjoyed watching this game.

Bama is just a machine & while I am a ex fan of Johnny Football there is no quit in that guy.

I thought it lived up to the hype.

Manziel is a great athlete, and college QB, .. but I just can't like the kid.

I have coached hundreds and hundreds of boys over the past 25 years, .. I have tried to teach them how to carry themselves off the field as much as teach them how to carry themselves in the heat of competition on the field.

He is not a good example for the young kids to follow. He could use a little humility.

But he sure is a player.

Manziel is something else but he threw about 9 passes up for grabs and only got two of them picked. Evans can certainly go up and get the ball.

awesome game
johnny is unbelievably talented. hopefully he uses that to do some good in the future.

People need to remember that Manziel is still just a kid. How mature were most of you when you were his age? How mature do you think you'd act if you were a 19 year old Heisman trophy winner with all kinds of ... attention ... being thrown at you all of the sudden.

I'm not saying he'll ever grow out of it. He could end up staying the way he is permanently. I can't speak for you but I know I wasn't the most mature guy on the planet at 20 years of age. And I didn't have the kind of attention thrown at me that he has.

That said, no way would I want him as a Cowboys QB, but that's mainly cuz I don't like this "College" brand of football that now exists in the NFL. I like my NFL QB's to be passers, not gimmicky read option garbage. If this continues, and isn't just a fad, I may have to find something more entertaining to do on sundays. It's already bad enough that the "Enforcer" position in the secondary is a thing of the past. Now the pure pocket passer is in jeopardy too?

I know I was a lot more mature than he seems to be! It turns out he's nothing more than a rich brat off the field.

Great college player but I'm not a fan.

Where does Alabama keep finding these outstanding O-linemen?

I disagree. He is not a kid, he is a grown man. I do agree that we all were more immature at that age but there is a difference from being immature and being an arrogant punk and Johnny is a arrogant punk.

If the Aggs just had a little bit of a defense they win that game going away.

It's his arrogance that ruins him for me. The money signal. The ignoring his coach walking off the field. He is old enough to know right from wrong. Being arrogant is his choice.

Great college player though. He's fun to watch.

Seeming every war ever fought was by men his age and younger I say cry me a river with his rich boy snot mouthed immaturity. My grandparents were married by 18 and had kids right off the bat, they grew up, weren't subject to arrested development and coddling.

He may be enabled but enabling exposes character, doesn't create it, and he has none...and our society celebrates arrested development while simultaneously being grossed out by the Miley Cyrus' and Manziels it initially sanctions

I agree with this - one or two stops and the game outcome would've been different. The Aggies put up 42 points and 628 yards, the most yardage EVER against Alabama and their mighty defense. The defense is young though - weren't good enough to stop the Tide, especially this early in the season.

W
and if Bama would have run more play action they would have scored 70

Well yeah, they would have, on the Aggs defense. I'm not even a fan, but I'm a fan of JF. I'm saying if they had the old wrecking crew D, they win that game.
