OU, Mizzou, UT, and TT all undefeated and in the top 10. After this week, 3 will most likely be in the top 5....and all 4 in the top 8. Also, Kansas is in the top 20. Nebraska and OSU are looking to crack the top 25 with wins tonight. If they do, that would make 8 teams (out of 12 in the Conference) in the top 25. It could have been 9, but Colorado laid an egg today.....idiots.

So call me a homer all you want....but I think I just gave you a valid, non-homeristic argument.

Well, I'll have to respectfully disagree.

17-3 LSU over Mississippi State. 10:10 left in the half.

MSU needs to give Croom the broom.....he has had enough time to do something with that program and he has done diddly squat. They need to get a real coach in there and start recruiting better......I am sure the school is tired of being the SEC doormat. Even Vandy football gets more respect than MSU.

you guys are getting beat down the way OU beat us when they had Griffin as their RB.....I still remember that nightmare vividly and I, to this day, hate Griffin....

I figured Bama would win.....but I thought the Georgia defense was a lot better than they are playing tonight. I am not surprised at the offensive difficulties of Georgia, as Bama has, what I believe is the best defense in college football. I am, however, disappointed with the defensive efforts of the Dawg Pound.

Now, I don't know how much attention you have ever paid to AP, USA Today/ESPN, etc., polling, but the No. 8 team leaping over three higher ranked teams to the No. 1 position is, quite frankly, unprecedented.

If you want to believe that the pollsters will elevate Alabama to No. 1 simply because they beat No. 3 Georgia at Georgia, go ahead, but it still has a snowball's chance in hell for actually happening. You may as well believe in the tooth fairy.

I think you are belittling what Bama did to UGA. They might not leap frog OU but they will leap frog Texas and LSU. The AP polls had already done something unprecedented this year when USC leap frog UGA after a win. So if Bama doesn't leap frog OU I could easily see them sitting at #2 with LSU#3 and Texas #4 however I think Bama should be #1 after that win we just have to wait and see.

could be, but Georgia has to play better than they did last night and get healthy. Bama put a physical whooping on us last night too, alot of players are beat up.

Plus, we had already lost our best OL (the LT) and DL (starting DT) to season ending injuries.

I think everyone knew UGA was overrated when USC jumped them in the polls. Impressive win, but I still don't think it was as impressive as USC beating Ohio St. like a drum.
