Bandwagon fans

Win, lose, or draw, I will always root for the Cowboys. The ups and downs are just part of being a fan. If you can't deal with the downs that's your problem. Maybe take up quilting or badminton.The team doesn't need fairweather fans.

Having been on the "bandwagon" since 1970, it's a life sentence. A sentiment with which many here can relate, I'm sure.

My three sons are all Cowboys fanatics as well, and some of the most enjoyable times in my life have been (and still are) when the four of us are able to huddle together to watch a game. None of them are old enough to recall seeing the Cowboys play in a Super Bowl, or an NFC Championship game. My youngest, who just turned 27 this month, wasn't even born when that last happened.

Yet, hope springs eternal.

I've never seen so many losers and quitters in one place since boot camp. There they were fortunately able to cut those losers and send them packing back home to their mommies.

Here, we have to put up with it. And they're everywhere and increasing daily in the numbers. You don't even have to read the threads to see the gloating and the hate over certain players. It's right there in the thread title. This place is full of low life losers who wouldn't make it one day in a fire fight. They quit at the drop of a hat. They give up at the first sign of adversity.

I've tried to put up with it and ignore it but you just can't. It's rampant. There are some great posters here as well. Some really, really great posters. But this place has been overrun by the low life's. The mods tolerate everyone so I don't blame them. They're trying their best. Coming here everyday and seeing all the negativity is just not good for me anymore. It's sad, and depressing.

So I'll be going on vacation for a long time maybe forever. Need to cleanse the soul.

You couldn't stay the course to discuss game and players beyond a disappointment. Oh, it was a tough game and was lost in the very last seconds in the match-up. I seem to recall Miami only scoring a single touchdown in the entire game. Try instead talking game instead of attitude and blame...

I came up in Bishop, Tx...at a game there, everyone rooted for the team. Sorry you don't have the experience of actually rooting home team and with real passion.

Oh, the Cowboys play some real football also. How many damn penalties are being missed by referees and against the Cowboys. You sucking up to that also...this team does play to win.
