I think some people are missing some extreme sarcasm or planned negative karma on the chat forum. HeavyHitta31 is our resident chat negatologist or is it negativitist...whatever, anyway the planned negative karma is for bringing the Boys back when they're down and works like this.
HH or someone else throws out a negative comment if we fall behind or begin to look pathetic. Most of the time, the comment causes something psychophysiological to happen that allows the Boys to come back and keep it close. Notice how we've been in almost every game this year?
You can thank HeavyHitta31.
Need examples to prove it. Here are some from the KC game:
Cowboys are driving in the last quarter of the game and are down by 4. HH proclaims, "watch Bledsoe throw an INT here." What happens? A long completion to Glenn.
A few plays later, the Cowboys are close to the goalline, HH says it again, "now Bledsoe will throw an INT." TD pass to Witten. Voila.
Fast forward to the end of the game....Witten drops the pass on 4th and goal. HH immediately types, "game over." What happens? The ref, controlled by an unknown force, throws a flag for defensive holding. First down. I rest my case.
So if you're in chat and see stuff like, "they're never going to win" or "watch Bledsoe throw an INT here," just let it slide. Its in order to keep the scales of karma balanced and the Boys in the game. HH is really the Boys' 12th man.
